Great announcement and one I didnt dare dream we would get!!!
Wonder if we will get different coloured paludrons..... I want a squad!
I just hope medicom goes the extra mile and makes it weathered and with the ANH helmet.

Damn straight ya know they're gonna happen as well. I'd kill for a RAH biker scout it would have less armor restrictions in the leg area.Medicom is kickin ass in the trooper dept. with no end in sight!!!

I can't imagine how cool that would be since my Stormtrooper's legs move extremely well now despite the armor. I'm considering hitting eBay for a Hasbro 12 inch Speeder Bike just in anticipation for an eventual higher-end 1/6 Biker Scout.

I will pass on this. Fett is the only 12" figure that I'll pay that much money for. I am sure it will be really cool though.

Yo say that now, but once you get a RAH you some how end up with more and more!:lol

:lol , I may be tempted, but I'll never get into the line like that. I just can't pay $150 bucks a pop for action figures. I don't mind spending big bucks on PF's, but am not crazy about doing it for 12" figures.

 This is the only one of the exclusives I'm tempted to order, just so I can pair him up with my RAH Stormtrooper. The price will be the determining factor.

You can totally find them cheaper. I haven't paid over $100 for ANY of my RAH, including ROTJ Vader and they're all mint. Just takes persaverance and the will to want to. I'm only paying retail for Fett and probably the Sandtrooper cause' I don't wanna go through the hassel anymore. But you can find them all for around $100 if you try, and that's not bad. I mean by th e time SS makes these guys, they'll be in that area anyway. If scales your bag I understand, kind of, but otherwise it's just a long hunt if you're cheap like me.

Wow, the great news just doesn't stop. I look forward to seeing how this figure stacks up. I one two Marmit Troopers and waas think about a RAH stormie and now this one. I may just have to bite. :monkey5

While I would have preferred an RAH Han Solo or Obi-Wan Kenobi it's still good to see the Sandtrooper's announcement and if it has a retooled helmet and decent weathering I can see one finding it's way into my collection at some point.

I don't think it'll have a new helmet, too much money to put into an exclusive. i think they're just slapping a backpack on him and a shoulder pad, tossing him a long rifle and MAYBE weathering it, but Medicom likes their stuff clean regardless of accuracy. Buty if it is clean, weathering aint hard, so no biggie!

I am definitely going to preorder this one but if I do I will want to get the other two troopers and Vader and I cant afford another line.

And I don't get that at all. In fact, it bugs the bejeezus out of me. I passed on the Clonetrooper for that alone. You shouldn't have to weather a $150 figure yourself for accuracy. Heck, even Hasbro weathered their crappy trooper figures.

I really hope we see a pic of the prototype beforehand, because I ain't ordering a CLEAN Sandtrooper.

I think getting the figure "clean" is better in the long run. If the weathering is not done right, it can look like crap. Just look at the Marmit Sandtrooper as a perfect example. The weathering looked awful on that one.
