Really, I don't get the fascination with Willy Wonka, that movie was absolute rubbish. Gene Wilder is so much better with Mel Brooks, even as a kid I hated this more than the Wizard of OZ. I should check if I am part of Hydra..........

I've never seen either Wonka movies or the Wizard of Oz.

You have to watch and give your review!
Wizard of Oz is a must. What they accomplished in that time period was phenomenal. Wonka on the other hand... I would be curious to see what someone thought of it if they didn't see it as a kid haha.

Re: Rahmier84 update 8-16-14

I watched the Wonka VHS so much as a kid that I wore it out. I have no idea why I loved it so much. For me its very nostalgic. I feel like I was always drawn to the creepy factor.

I watched Edward Scissorhands a ton too, despite the fact that he downright scared me haha. When I grew up I appreciated the deeper meaning of the film.

Both characters are in Jacob's hands right now haha.

I think I just might! I also have only seen like 3 Disney movies and I'm 22. People usually gasp in horror when I say that, but it sounds normal to me. Why would I want to watch princess movies when I had muthafuggin Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a Nintendo?

Nostalgia still gets me with all of those…. but introduce the Goonies to someone as an adult? They won't get it haha.
