There are plenty of reference pics that show the vest color is not accurate on the figure. Bill wore that vest with different outfits and all look different from Rainmans except for the Eye tapping scene, which makes it look somewhat similar to the color we got.

It looks to be a pale green with grey and a light orange ovals.

I've tried to find some reference material of the actual screen worn vest but it's almost impossible to find. If anyone has a way of finding some other than what's on film, then the mystery will be put to rest.

Being busy is great & sucks equally. Great to make that Rainman money; sucks because I barley have time to catch up with the forum. And there's a lot to keep up with this week :panic:. The worst part is I had enough time to get the red coat on the Butcher and that's about it. He's neglected

I'm coming late to the vest talk but in a few ways I have to agree with Turbo. The way the pattern was cut is why there are variations in the collar. There would have been a lot of material wasted if each one was cut to have ovals. It was very much a luck of the draw thing; and I'm saying this as someone who is oval-less. I'm disappointed that I didn't get one of the crème de la crème, but that's outweighed by how happy I am with the overall accuracy of the vest. Plenty of others who produce 1/6 clothes wouldn't be able to offer something as close to perfect as this. I'm happy that they changed the ovals to the proper orange and I'm happy with the overall accuracy of the pattern and colors.

I'm not happy with the not having a pig tray and a broken stache. I've been too busy to even contact the big guy yet. It'll be annoying and I'm sure I'll have to jump thru some hoops, but I know that he'll make good in the end.

All of this yapping about ovals but nobody has yet to mention that there's only 40 notches on the Monks shilelagh! :slap

Talk about having an eye for details.....Amatuer hour for this new wave :lol

You KNOW that counting the notches was one of the first things I did once I unboxed :lol. I just didn't see any reason to stir the pot with something that couldn't be changed; especially in the midst of broken staches here and there

But if you have to count the notches to make sure there is the right number, then that is obviously not visably noticeable...and why count? - for screen/movie accuracy.
The lapel pattern could have easily been printed separately to the vest so there was not wastage... Its just a repeated pattern.

staches are priority though....
