The VIPs get first crack and then he holds off another limited amount open to all for preorder. Also is the heads, clothing sets and heads+clothing sets.

You should be totally OK for some form of Bill my friend! :D Keep in mind that the full sets are the ones that are painted by Rainman himself. the paint job is always what knocks it out of the park

Do his preorders usually sit for a small amount of time or are we talking sold out in 1 minute, and hope you clicked fast?

It's hard to tell. Each figure he gets better and better. But the Alex and dude it took some time for them to sell out. 15-20 mins?

Yeah if you truly want one and are willing to pay the money you should have no problem securing one because you'll be at the computer ready to go. The price on these things assure that. Only serious buyers come to the table because you order and then you pay.

Oh I'll be at the table :) I just didn't know if it was the same madness as the PRE-NRD PPO's Sideshow did...30-40 second sellouts LOL.

Rainman's TylerDurden/Narrarator/Edward Norton sold out in something like 18 seconds if I can remember... Alex and the dude took a lot longer because I believe the quantities were higher.

Gary Oldman from Leon took days because the interest was not really there.

Won't there be a few who already bough Scott's figure? ..surely some of the fans of this character who would pay this type of money for a custom figure already have it with Scott's, this might make ordering this figure maybe a little easier on those of you who will be after it.

:goodpost::gah: newuh was interested in NYG Bill at all.
Daniel Plainview - just more interesting art-house character in my eyes.
But I would not pay $800+ for a figure under any circumstances :lol:lol:lol

I think you are right about that. Also, Alex came out last month and Lucy, which set me back a couple grand.

So do any of you guys say to yourself- Aw I can go to Europe, or Disneyworld, or buy that 55"LCD next year, the'll be there.

anybody got the timer?

Tombstone is really good. Have you guys seen The Wild Bunch or the Searchers?

if Rainman is keeping western I'd say id want him to tackle Blondie again in bounty hunter gear or John Wayne from True Grit!

Having not been following this, I gotta say, I think this is Rainman's best work so far. Very nice.

C'mon Rainman, the OTHER Sergio Leone western classic, "Once Upon a Time in the West"! Charles Bronson as Harmonica and Henry Fonda as Frank.

Greatest western I've ever seen. Sadly, not nearly as well-known or iconic as the Eastwood films (probably since Eastwood's performance resonated more than Bronson's), so I'm not sure how popular figures would be. Henry Fonda was as bad ass as any character in cinema in that movie IMO.
