Couls just be shadow and the pic, but from what I see, the head is a LITTLE too large at the top and the jawline is off.

Nose could be more pointed.

Looks ace so far though.

Spot on bud! With them tweaks it will be awesome!

I also am a huge fan of Rainman's work

I will now definately go for that pose at the end with the snub nosed magnum

ARGH !. It looks great.
It may be the shadows but I think the jaw could be more squared off at the sides rather than the oval shape it is. I think the eyes could be a little longer and rounded off at the bottom. I'm surprised how good that is actually.
I REALLY like this and now I'm terrified I'm going to miss it.

I certainly plan on getting the painted DF Studios head and clothes set so if you would be ok including 2 that would be awesome Will they be for the oval shaped HT base as that's what i use Ray

So what are usually all the differences between buying the full rainman set and the clothing set ?.
Is it just the missing body and special item , or is there a difference in the paint work ?.

Full sets will be painted by rainman.

Other sets painted by DF Studio.

Mate knowing how special this film is to you, go for the full ltd version if you can, sell to get it!

Rainman is up there as the very best with his paint job's, DF are good but not a patch on Rainman's

Yes you don't get the body or the special item and that is about it, but for the extra $250-$300 it is definately worth it

I should have the cash to be able to get the full thing but it's a matter of getting it all together in time. It's going to be either something or nothing.
That's what's scaring me a bit.

I'll likely pick up an unpainted head in addition to the full set, so worst case scenario I could hook u up with that in the future, his suit wouldn't be too hard to bash. But you should definately try and get a head/clothing set at least if your able.

I've just sold a ton of stuff and had the cash , BT were gonna cut my internet off so I had to pay those a really really ridiculous bill and now I think I've managed to get the cash again amazingly.
I just need to get it all in the bank and I'm still waiting for a little of it but it would appear time is running out.

How long do you think we've got , about 2 weeks or something before this is up for order ?.

Personally i think this is likely to go up for pre order around the 22nd or so of October, just my gut feeling

I feel ya, I sold all my Hot Toys figures except Joker to fund customs. But even Jokers got a repaint and kitbashed parts.
