Finally saw the GP in hand today. Amazing set, truly congrats to those who bought it.
All of these macro and closeup shots are misrepresenting the set as a whole. A zoomed in shot with a flash will look shady regardless of how good a paint app is. The stubble on Jacks beard viewed from the eye is amazing, zoomed in looks a little out of place.

Agreed. The stubble looks funny in some shots, but just looks awesome in-hand. . .at least in my case, but then, we've had some obvious variation in paint apps.

Agreed to the fullest, Kubrick. A lot of the macro shots of Jack aren't true portrayals of what he looks like in hand. Sure, a little style going on but I think it's more in the paint than in the sculpt. I'm sure guys like Surfer could bring a different level of likeness and realism out of this. Either way I'm really diggin' Jack's sculpt
I had a long session last night with the GP while I watched most of the movie again. They are absolutely epic. It took me a while to recognize the magic but it's definitely sunk in and I'm loving this set. Mind is officially blown
Can't wait for Phine's accessories and to make an ultimate display, I'm looking to get a Redrum door and a table. There are people who can offer the door but would anyone be interested in getting a table? A true to scale one would be too big for most people to display but a shortened display friendly one could be awesome and be perfect for Phine's set
