If you've seen the 1984 movie Breakin', I would assume your username is a shout out to that flick'? :wink1: Loved that film back in the day. :rock

Yup, I'm old school all the way! :lol

Believe it or not my brother and I still have all our old Hip Hop 12" records, including this one. There was another old school Hip Hop classic that was a spin off of The Pee Wee by Steady B called "Do the Fila".

Those were fun times and good memories.

:rock Glad to see your an old school head Void! Me and Turbo are all about it man!

So am I!!!

:exactly: every time i meet up with this guy, he won't shake my hand like a normal person. he breakdances for a bit, moonwalks back about 20 yards, then caterpillars forward, stands up, body pops for a bit, and then makes me do that kid n play dance from house party. takes about 10 mins just to say hello!!

breakin'. i remember this from when i was about 4 or 5. my cousins used to play this movie and its sequel every time i was round there. but think it was also called breakdance, which is why whenever i asked people about it, they didn't know what i was talking about. ahh, nostalgia. think i'm gonna bust out some old school house tapes they made for me from that era :lol

WoooOOOoooW!!!

If I don't ever buy another figure again I love the fact that you guys bring up some movies that I completely forgot about. There are so many 80's (even 70's) movies I've gone back to watch.

Finally watched Taxi driver and loved it. Can't wait to see Rainman do his thing with Bickle.

Thats what were here for bro! :wink1: I recently watched Taxi Driver after a long hiatus and totally fell in love all over again! Gotta love that feel of Times Square and the rest of NYC that was captured back then. You wouldnt even recognize it now. Plus the dreamy sax number Iris theme! Cybil Shepard was so hot in that movie man! Such a true beauty! :inlove

Yeah towards the end of the movie my wife and I were humming that tune. Never been to New York but the buildings remind me of Napoli, Italy (has that old historic feel)

I got family in NYC though and will try to make it there if I ever move back to the States (7 years overseas now)

I'm going to feel like a foreigner when I get back :rotfl

Damn Mags, you shoulda hit me up to let me know about this! I think I'm screwed though, I'm super broke right now, but hope to have something going by the time this will be ready. Super excited for you on this one, CONGRATS on getting this done! :yess:

Will there be updates on this thread or will you start a new one when he starts work on it?

I hate seeing this thread....

Because the more I think about it, the more I feel like it would be absolutely AWESOME to have a Pee-Wee on the shelf :lol

I'm screwed.

Me too, Awww crap.

Great memories indeed!!
This was my personal favorite! Turbo Aka Boogaloo shrimp freaked it on this one! Growing up I used to see him bust people down all the time! He used to battle in my aunts building (Stevenson Commons) in the Bronx. But WildStyle is the Ultimate B-Boy movie!!

TEQUILA!!!

Hey guys! Im so ecstatic I dont know how I'm even typing this. I have been speaking with Rainman as of late and have been telling him about the Pee Wee project. Rainman has expressed interest in making this figure become a reality to the mass as a full figure release sometime in the spring!

The bike may not be happening as Rainman sees it as being a really difficult to tackle in the short time frame he has. But Pee Wee is on. I'm making this thread to show Rainman there is pure love and interest for this cult character from most of our fond childhood memories. Rainman will be watching this thread closely so throw up that Pee Wee love. We going cult baby!!!

Now Im trying to keep this the movie version from Big Adventure but I know their are some fans of the show as well. So lets throw around some ideas for accessories. I know for sure we need an extra pair of Tequila! shoes (hopefully made to stand on the tip toes!), the bike horn Pee Wee went to buy when his bike was stolen, trick gum, headlight glasses. The boomerang bow tie is pretty much useless. Pee Wee will be wearing his red bowtie anyway. Plus it was only used in a deleted scene. Maybe his hitchhiking stick and big thumb? ( I think those can be bashed easy enough) :lol So many possibilities!

Im on my way to work in a few so i will keep updating the thread when I can. Show some love brothers!!! :1-1:
