Great pics Teddy! The wait is now really getting to me. Is it bad that I keep checking the tracking every hour (even though I know itll be atleast another day or two)?

While the lips do have a bit too much pink to them, I am looking forward to seeing it in person. I doubt itll be too overbearing. Either way, from the pics posted this is no doubt one of Rainman's best.

It's just the lips too. The skin tone, eyes, and sweat beads look great. I'd hate to spend MORE money on this 1k figure.

Hector, I've seen your paint work. You could tone down the lips yourself.

Doc looks great just as I knew he would. As for the lips hopefully they will look better in person. Sometimes Rainman's paints need to be seen in hand before passing judgement. Trust me on this. Also, if it was me I also wouldn't be quick to have it repainted by anyone other than the man himself. I know the wait would suck but you wouldn't want to ruin the artwork aspect of the figure. Just my opinion, don't kill me!

Basis the iminime's sculpt pics Blitz shared earlier, if there is one thing I'd like to tweek, it would be to further tone down the colour of the eyebrows and imperial beard. However, looking at the actual screen shots, I realised that the colour 'changes' with the source of light/lighting. At some places, cannot even describe what colour it is.

Best be to leave the sculpt as it is. The Rainman sculpt is fantastic, I am sure with a little low light, even the pink shade won't look so defined.

I understand that but someone else might not feel the same seeing theirs in hand. Also sometimes the paint jobs vary ever so slightly with each piece. Case in point, my Loompa had a lighter orange skin tone than some others.

I am in talks with Greggo about a lip repaint/tone down. I don't believe I need to send this back to rainman for a lip repaint. Greggo has talent in abundance to repaint the lips for me.

IMO the lips aren't that bad, granted I have only seen the pics so far but the color of the lips is part of the rainman paint job. If you're going to modify the paint job what was the point of having rainman paint it? Don't get me wrong I'm the first person to tweak a figure or a sculpt if something is bothering me but in this case it's just something I wouldn't do. But this is just me. Really it always comes down to, to each their own.

Doc has arrived! No surprise cup here. The headsculpt is incredible!! The paint job is just perfect. Nothing wrong with mine's lips. Very happy!

My stance has always been to leave it how it is. So far everything I have from Rainman has been utter perfection in my eyes but this is kinda bugging me. The problem is Doc was really ill and his lips were almost skin coloured but here they are just so rosey pink. When I compare them with all my other Rainman pieces these are actually the brightest. It just doesn't fit unfortunately for me.

Completely understandable. I mean I've only seen pics so I suppose I was kind of talking out of my ass. Like I said, personally I would do it but I'm not going to tell someone they can't do it. If you have the ability to fix something that's bothering you, than you should by all means fix it.

My tracking is still not working and I can't find a shipment confirmation email from Rainman, on my order page on his site its status is "on shipping", I hope it is on the way because he said he shipped them all.
