You got the hair looking killer. The texture and color looks just like the protos. What's did you do? Wax?

Robbie, will that hair stay wet? Someone did mention somthing about maybe using a wax to give it the sweat look.

Woke up to my other gal this morning! :lol

This by far is my favorite of the two versions right now.

I used water in my airbrush to get everything to lay down and then with a mix of water and hairspray and qtip, "brushed" it down. Be careful though because the water will cause the dye to bleed onto the costume. If you put a barrier between the hair and costume, once it dries it may be ok. I didn't cut anything. It did make mine a lot darker which is what I was hoping for.

WARNING
I make no claims that this is a safe way. It could cause all the hair to fall out. I have no idea. Its just stating what I did.

Now that you have had a littl time with it Robbie, you have had many a rain man figures where does this one rank

Well it arrived today. I actually like it better than I thought, and it might just be my favorite rainman piece, even though I like clockwork orange as a movie and alex far better as a charector. I am not a huge exorcist fan, so that really says something.

Moving on, huge thanks to Robbie for his honesty about the hair. This is what I did and found out about it. Wrapped the figure in a plastic bag taped shut at the top by her neck. With all the hair out of the bag, I mist it with water, than mist is with hair spray while wet. Yes the dye runs a little. Let Dry then remove bag. The top of her hair will clump due to the water and will show the bald head. If you move the hair just a little, you can see patches start to fall out. This is what I did to keep it in place. Move the clumps that have come out back with a needle or pin toward the center of head. Take a sewing needle or pin. I put some fabric glue along it and then pressed it into the center channel of her head. The hair is pressed down into the groove that runs down the center of the head. The glue will be pressed down into that groove. This will allow the hair to be glued in place. Then after it dried, I took a exacto blade and separated the clumped pieces apart to hide the scalp. I did this with version 1.

As Robbie said, this is what did, and what I found out. Not responsible what happens if you do this.

The figure is solid. Anyone who already has this in person knows exactly what I'm talking about. The futz mastering will come along....but all the ingredients are there. A very sold piece and addition to Rainmans catalog and to any collection.
