Yeah, it's looks like her but it also looks like Johny Depp in drap.

I'm sorry but just because Rainman's art is a certain price does not mean it's grounds to not give credit where it's due.

I for one always liked it but with the improvements I can see where so many constructive viewpoints were coming from... If it looks like Depp in drag it's only because that's what HBC looks like...

the likeness is there... I'm not sure how anyone can dispute that and if they are they are doing so to be difficult on purpose.

Yes it could be better... but than again so could DX Joker, T-800, The Godfather and all of the top notch 1/6 figures out there... there's always room for improvement.

My only gripe with this figure is the visable knee joints but that's nothing Rainman could have avoided. Also agree with Entropy that I wish the top was not that sequin kind of look but more of a gray wool or cashmere.

All in all another amazing work of art from Rainman.

I hope Rainman can find a better fabric for the gray top. I can appreciate the texture of the prototype cloth but the metallic silver coloring is not quite working. I agree with you Ray that gray wool or cashmere look would be more accurate. Rainman's improvements to the shoes, sculpt, and paint have all been fantastic and it's a last detail to improve to make this figure perfect.

As for the knee joints, between the female Truetype's simpler knee joint and adjusting her dress, I don't think the joints will be too noticeable.

I really like the addition of the purse and hopefully Rainman will surprise us with the hat too. :D

baffling

but someone was telling me just the other day that the HT T800 sculpt doesn't look much like Arnold :slap

You just could say that for any sculpt ... In my opinion, it doesn't look like her. The sculpt is very good as always with RM's work and he has done awesome with the hair but when I look at the Bellatrix Gentle Giant bust and I see this I'm just being honest with you about the likeness ...

exactly. no matter how good a sculpt may be, there will always be those who don't see it. :cuckoo: :monkey3

I get your point and agree this one isn't quite as close a HBC likeness as the GG one (though the GG paint is lackluster naturally), but it is much improved from the first version and most importantly has the look and essence of Marla Singer now. :)
