okay i went a head got some screencaps myself

here is the 1st appearance tyler durden look

I really look this outfit seeing as it's the only time in the movie where he wears this red jacket. i tried my best to capture the print clearly enough for you to see. this is also the only scene where he wears those pants.

the shoes are just brown leather loafers with a good chain on them i have a better shot of them and will post them up later... also included a shot of the soap bars inside his briefcase.

Mr. Durden's Ring's are very hard to capture. He wears 3 rings in total one on his right hand middle finger, one on his left hand ring finger and one on his right hand pinky.

Ok, so he wears 3 different red jackets, 2 of which are leather. The third is when they're setting off car alarms. I definitely don't like his airplane look and would be disappointed if Rainman went with that costume.

I think the 1st fight parking lot scene is among the most iconic. If Rainman goes with a button up shirt instead of a tshirt, the penguin print one is best.

his boots... i know they are really small but its really hard to find scenes with good lighting on his boots lol

he wore these in at least 3 different scenes the airplane scene, picking up marla, and the finale.

A can see that with all these different outfits and screen grabs, it may be difficult keeping track of did he wear those pants with those shoes or with that other shirt? I'm sure Rainman is on top of this and has already thought the costuming through and decided on what he wants to do. I wouldn't be surprised if it's already in production.


And I don't think Tyler should come with the pistol. Ed Norton sure, but not Pitt.

I honestly don't care which costume he's doing I did these shots just for the sake of reference incase he needs help.

the gun isn't important but again in the event rainman does need to some shots... there it is.

understood. I just want whatever outfit it is to be consistent and screen accurate. Looking at these pics out of context, a foot here, a torso shot there, I can see how they can become confused.

And the human sacrifice revolver would be more appropriate if he must come with a weapon, but I don't think of Tyler as a Gunman.

confused with what? i really don't think someone like rainman is going to bash a figure based on these screenshots alone he'll probably use the movie as reference as well.... besides thats why included descriptions to everything I posted.... not just strongly opinionated suggestions on what i'd like to see on this and that.

yes. That gun makes much more sense. Based on the WIP, Rainman's not doing the finale version of Tyler so why should he come with the Smith & Wesson from the end of the movie? That's what I mean by confused and inconsistent.


But I could go for a sealed bag of gooey human fat as an accessory.

I really like the final scene costume, but don't really like his shaven hair.

So I'm down for a first scene look, that screams tyler durden to me.

I could make do without the hand scarring and or the rings, but if rainman decide to do it, SWEET!

Based on the previous gunmen, one would assume we'd be getting one look, with one sculpt. Though when people screamed hard enough for Tuco's pea coat and hat, Rainman was kind enough to include them so it's hard to call.

More power to ya, but why post references for something the long haired Tyler didn't use and shouldn't come with? But yes, I was assuming you were posting it because you thought it might be useful to Rainman in making the S&W and seems like you were suggesting Rainman include that.

But whatever. Lighten up and enjoy the toys.
