I think what gatackFC was trying to imply was that rainman should try out different sculpt or portrait, since pacino has been done and bleed to death with sculptor like kojun doing multiple characters from him. And that rainman couldnt do any better than what kojun has already done.

only reason for me to be counting on for rainman in making tony montana is because compared to the other artist that we have right now, I think only his work is on par with HT's stuff I have in my shelf. If Kojun is doing commissions or is offering a montana fig, then I'd no doubt get his work.

I doubt that rainman would want to do a tony montana pacino, since its indirectly doing a similar artist's work (since pacino pretty much has kojun's mark all over him).

But then again, hes giving us the final battle tyler thats similar to what inae has done, so the possibility is there.

So if he's interested in making a tony montana, then I'd certainly be very interested

any chance of a "throwing insult" sticky thread in the sandbox? i know i've ruined rainman's thread once before requiring sean to come in and clean things up. would be nice to have a place to go and throw some verbal monkey poo around.

If he was to move on from the Fight Club series he should definitely visit characters that aren't overdone by other artists. I.E. Alex D' Large, William Blake, Bill the Butcher, Yojimbo/Sanjuro, among others.

I completely agree. I'm not into the Pacino figs personally, but they are so beautiful and I deeply respect the talent that went into them.

I kind of hope the next one is one of the ones you guys have been craving, if only so I can take a break. Rainman keeps making my most wanted ones back to back.

So Zuno, just wanna make sure on something:

Is the red shades gonna come with this package, as a surprise bonus?

A separate piece that you can buy at a later date?

Or will it be included in the V2 durden set?

I was kinda hoping that for the V2 durden that rainman could give us a different shoes than the gucci loafers, since I already have 2 pairs of those already.

Here's hoping that he could give us an additional track pants and boots.

Get thee behind me. I need to catch my breath with these customs.

To be honest, after GBU, Fight Club and perhaps Clockwork, most of my favs will have been covered. And yes, a Dead Man would be sweet but it's got such limited and cult appeal I don't think it would necessarily be a great choice for Rainman.

I have yet to watch Dead Man to give a proper Depp's getup does look figure worthy.

The surprise is Rainman has swapped all these over to hairier, bulkier Jackman bodies.

I'm generally for as much screen accuracy as possible, and since finale Tyler only wore the loafers, I'm not eager for a V2 to screw that up with clothing or shoes he didn't wear.


the main problem with Dead Man's costume is the film's in black and white and there are few color references. And as a cult film, it's not something I think anyone could sell more than 10 of.
I'll just get my big furry coat love with a Tyler V2.

After Tyler V2.... I say Rainman should move on to some other character and some other film.

Alex, The Road Warrior, Marty McFly, etc. Something where likeness or film rights are near impossible.
