Such a great piece.
Such a shame they didn't use this as an opportunity to enter the full 'mixed media' look for statues.
I mean...a standard black t-shirt, shirt and pants would have been a nice simple learning curve right?

I believe this was meant to be released last september, then it got delayed, then it got pushed then it was january then february, then june, now i dont know whats goin on.... its so annoying and probably the last HCG statue i pre order

no problem buddy, this is my first time ordering from HCG so not sure if this happens a lot, with any luck, future releases will be come out a lot sooner
Know chance of future releases coming faster
I pre ordered the Rocky IV statue and it's taking over a year and counting
I guess the long delays are great for someone on a budget that needs time to save the money. I'm not getting this Rambo IV because I already have the 12 inch Rambo IV, for what ever reason the Rambo IV is sold out but just sold on ebay for only $150, I guess these HCG statues don't increase in value like DC Direct statues and Hot Toys figures do.

I think i know the 12inch Rambo IV statue you're referring to, it does look cool and i have found it on one or two sites still in stock, tempted to buy it but have other statues i'm waiting on first, ive also order the resident evil axeman (not directly from HCG), see how long that takes to be released (expected this summer)
One thing to keep in mind, HCG is similar to Sideshow in that they distribute other people's things and do their own. Example, Master Cutlery makes the Rambo knives and HCG sells them. The Rocky and Rambo statues are sculpted and painted by independent artists, HCG may not be in control of production time so I wouldn't judge other HCG ship times by this statue or other releases unless they're both being made by all the same people.

I can appreciate what you're saying Maulfan, yes, the statues are being done by different sculptors, 'paint masters' being the same person, but my experience of this item and other collectible items i've ordered before indicate that delays can be expected at times, if items are released on their expected date, great, if not, i just hope they be released soon

I have used Secret compass, they were really good, fast shipping, great communication. Got a few Hot Toys from them and some Gentle Giant stuff.

Cool, just wondered as i hadn't used them before and am wondering what the delivery costs are likely to be for this item, esp for us who are overseas to secret compass, this item isn't exactly small nor lightweight lol

It's shipping one of these days as the guy posting these pics over at statueforum allready got it.
I turned out just as great as the prototype,now...im scared to death that the bow might break during shipping.

Not good enough to my taste but congrats to you two.
Paint came out much better than the 1/6 statue.
And we know the quiver comes separately since the second set of photos has it on him wrong and the first has it right.

If you really want to start dissecting it, the face has issues too. It's not perfect, but it still looks great, I'm still adding it to my collection.
