It's already a grail for me, and some of the changes people wanted, I absolutely don't want, if changes were made, depending on what they were, this could be a grail ruined for me.

i want the hair thinned out on the sides of his head, aside from that MAYBE dirty him up a bit and THAT'S IT.
That's one of the biggest "fixes" I don't want. I like the style they went with for the hair, it's how I think of Rambo from Rambo 2, the Legendary bust is like that, if Hot Toys ever did a new Rambo 2 figure I'd want it like that.

Some people wanted it like this, which is too scene specific for me, I know the pose of the statue is inspired by that moment, but I treat this statue as a generic, broad representation.

i think the major thing that needs to be fixed first from all is the paint application...it needs to be more dirty, and photorealistic...

thanks for posting these, i was in the middle of doing the same thing.
the "poof" can be seen in some the photos above, and in others photos, it's a matted down sweaty look.

That's another thing I'm hoping they don't do, I don't want it to be dirty. They say there's a chance for Rambo stuff in the future, but at the moment, I get a feeling this will be the only Rambo PF, and to me, adding certain levels of dirt would make it too specific to a moment in film.
I look at this PF as, if you could visually represent Rambo as a character in one image, how would you do it. For me, that's the Rambo 2 look with the red head band and either his bow or a machine gun works just fine. I don't want this to look speciifically from any movie or moment. It's just how I would handle this and my personal tastes. Same with Rambo figures, I prefer them to be clean and non-specific representations. The only Rambo piece I'll present own with any sort of specific dirty and deco will be my repainted Rambo 4 statue, but that's also sculpted to a very specific moment in the film where the dirt and such is key to making it look right. This PF, you'd need sweaty, thinned out hair and dirty to make it look from the actual film scene and I don't want the PF to be a piece from one scene of the movie, I just want it to be Rambo.

LSB is my favorite depiction of Rambo 2, though I admit the overdone eyelash paint is too much.
All I ask is it look more like Sly and less like a mongoloid.

I Agree Sean,that Rambo bust is incredible...best likeness yet of any Sideshow/HT pieces imo.HT Rambo 3 and First Blood M65 is right up there though.
