The prequels are garbage and that’s a fact.

They're not the best movies every made, yes. But they're as starwarsy as you could ask for.
So the fact is... If you hate PT you don't know what makes Star Wars starwarsy.

The prequel trilogy ruined some of the villains (Vader, Boba who, lets face it, were already kinda crappy in ROTJ)

Vader especially. You didn't need to see him as annoying kid or a lovesick teenager. Admittedly, were it well done, it would have enhanced the tragedy, but it was hamfisted and generally bad, so it detracted from his story if anything.

I would say Ep III may have come close to redeeming the character, except for the "NOOOOOOOOOOO!", which, ironically, was my exact reaction about 2 horrified seconds after it appeared on screen.

It could never make a difference. TLJ is so awful the ST could never even aspire to top the PT. And that is saying something because the PT is not very good.

I love the prequels mate. Just finished watching Attack of the clones in fact. And I'd take them over the soulless photocopies of Disney any day of the week

Spaceballs is more faithful to the parameters of the OT. But TLJ is similarly ridiculous. The difference is one of them is an intentional spoof film and the other strives to be taken seriously.

That moment happens when Luke tosses his father's saber over his shoulder. The rest of the film consists of Toht's goo boiling over and over and eventually evaporating at Luke's long-distance death. The evaporated goo then congeals and comes crashing down like a thunderstorm at Broom Boy.

Ranking is such a hard subject because I love Star Wars even with its bad films I still enjoy them. I grew up with the Original Triology and I was able to see the Prequels in theatres. People hate on the Prequels but they are as nostolgic to me as the Orginial Trilogy. They arent the greatest but gave me joy and I grew up with them.The Last Jedi has made a big uproar. For better or worse which my opinion is still valid its got its moments but i am still disappointed. I dont hate it as much as some of you but i get why and alot of it i agree with. Here's my rankings below of all Star Wars films. I will say I enjoy Star Wars comics and the Toonami Clone Wars micro series was amazing. Even the new Clone Wars show was very good.
