Super Freak
I am so fed up dealing with those liars and/or bad buyers.
1) If I list an item as mib - only opened to inspect then placed back in box. Then it might HAVE paint scratches, dust, or black tars/marks on the statue, plus the base might be full of crap that looked like it's been displayed in a monkey zoo for the last 2 years, it also might have different colored paint brushstrokes used to touch up defects. I don't make this crap.. I just sell it. Blame the chinese factory worker who obviously had more interest in reading some Pokemon porno manga instead of painting up a toy.
2) If I'm going to ship a $400+ item, then I'm not going to spend _____**** 30 sec to duct tape the styrofoam shut and package it properly. I don't work at the USPS. If you want your item professionally wrapped then ship Martha Stewart to my house and I'll have her spruce up your items and put little bows on them with scented cinnamon sticks and potpourri for packing material.
I have had buyers literally whining about me throwing the styrofoam together without any tape and then dumping it in the box with no padding on $500+ statues, of course the styrofoam will come separated during shipping and all the parts will fall out into the box..chipped,broken. But hey man, that's like uh.. uh.. that's like the delivery person's thing man. That's not uh.. uh.. my thing man. I don't work at UPS. Mannn.
Then I had shipped one statue while I was eating some delicious chines food and yeah maybe some of that delicious rice fell in with the item and stuck to the base. and I was also tarring my roof while I was packing the item so yeah maybe some black sticky marks got all over the figure, still listed as new/mib. I mean, it WAS new/mib before I started packing it up. So technically that description is 93% accurate.
And just recently I shipped out a mib code 3 x-wing only to find out this buyer didn't like how I carefully and very delicately threw the accessory hard case into the giant soft shipping paper box without any padding/protection. Of course the case opened during shipping and all the pieces came loose and started grinding against each other (picture a high school dance with no chaperone's). The end result is every piece got chipped and scratched up. But that adds to the realism. x-wings are only in pristine condition when they're not battle tested. Would Luke Skywalker get in an undamaged x-wing!? NO.
So yeah..
The sad part is most of those horrible buyers all have good feedback here and on ebay. I am pretty easy going and really not a picky seller, but this is just insane! Like.. in the membrane.
To be fair most buyers are honest and and just STFU when their items come, but it really gets under your skin when you have to deal with those bad buyers especially after they specifically ask you to confirm if the item is mib/new and you say yes because AT THAT MOMENT IN TIME AND SPACE IT IS. But who knows what can happen 10 seconds later. You know? Oops there goes my Popsicle, right into the x-wing cockpit. Oops there goes a used Maxipad into the same box with a Predator. When you're selling and shipping out crap on a daily basis ____ gets real, real fast. Son.
