So the majority say 7 and up.

Far cry from those that spout on here that the movie is hated by the masses.

I didn't like it at all when I first saw it, but upon re-watching it last Christmas I found it much better. Still, it had its flaws so I went with a 7. It was no Iron Man or Dark Knight, but it was a good start to the DCCU.

7 seems appropriate, maybe 6.5. The trailers for this film were some of the best I've ever seen. It could have easily been the greatest superhero film ever made, and I thought it would be. Shame, but oh well. It certainly wasn't bad though.

Cavill is the best looking Superman we've had so far IMO, and the suit is incredible.

This. I look forward to the day when I have a collection of DC movies in my living room. A collection of hopefully well made DC movies.

What, wasn't Batman & Robin good enough for you? Man, you've got some high standards. :rotfl

Hell, I'm just happy that we're getting a JL movie in a couple of years.

:lol

Batman and Robin.... Hahaha. MoS, and the Nolan Batman movies are in my collection. I meant movies from a shared universe (DCCU). DC has tons of potential. I would really like to see it realized.

Superman is my favorite of all the comic characters, but I hated the film. The animated films are 10x better then this. Real disappointment.

With all the caterwauling about MOS around here ... you wouldn't think it'd rate so high. At the moment, 90 out of 127 rate it 7 or above. That ain't bad at all.

Gave it a six. I actually quite enjoyed it on my second and third viewings, but there's just enough things about the film I thought were badly-handled, illogical or just plain stupid to drag the score down. It's a beautiful, uneven, ambitious mess.

That said, I still admire it more than many of Marvel's films for at least daring to do and be something a little different.
