Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

Yeah, you could buy Krang with the small walker (2 legged thing) and then this guy. I'd like to get a set of the vintage Turtles and maybe a Shredder, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

Nothing too exciting... but a couple of images that didn't get uploaded earlier.

Just my Playmates Simpsons figures; just wanted the main family and I added Roberto and Mom to my Futurama collection :rock

Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

Added the Galoob Next Generation figures... pretty cheesy, but I still think they are the coolest ST figure that have been made.

I like the face sculpts on the human characters. Pretty decent considering the scale.

Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

I think its cool you rock a collection with so many scales and make it all work together so well.

TNG is my fav incarnation of ST, kongrats on the new figs J :rock

Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

I never understood why those Galoob Star Trek figures were never worth anything. They always looked decent to me, and were of a popular geek franchise, but seemed to get clearanced out of all the old toy stores I frequented as a kid.

Yeah, they are surprisingly well done for the scale and time period.

Thanks again man, I haven't found their permanent home yet... but have an idea of where they will live.

Yeah, I'm guessing its either that the series was too short (Playmates came out soon after and was prolific), they made too many or ST fans just don't like toys the same way SW and Joe fans do :huh

As a kid I never saw the aliens in stores, but remember them at comic book shows for $40 a pop. I got this lot for about $30 shipped :rock

Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

Very true... I grew up on 3 3/4" to 8" scale figures :rock :rock :rock

I really can't remember owning any 12" figures as a kid :huh

Very cool, I only had a couple of these and the die cast Enterprise from Galoob when I was a kid, then Playmates came along and made everything, those look great though, and they are better representations than the Playmates figures.

Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

Yeah, I remember getting a Borg and Romulan from the Playmates line, but not really liking them much. But yeah, even though I'm not a fan of that line no denying that it was a pretty extensive one.

Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

Excellent collection and pics. A lot of good variety there. :) I just noticed that awesome King Muscle Kinnukuman fig (the big one). My brother would love that. Could you please tell me the name of the fig? :)

Re: Galactiboy's Collection of Terror!!!

Thanks Ryu; the figure was made by Romando (same company that made the figures to the left of him). They made one of him and of Robin Mask, and each had 2 or 4 variants. But I don't think they have a specific name for these.

I've seen them on eBay from time to time, usually selling in the $75-$100 range.
