I'm really hoping Koto releases some 1/6 scale FF statues. I need them in that scale and I really don't care for any Reed or Sue pieces Bowen released. That said, SSC already released a kick @$$ Thing PF. Who knows if or when they'll release the rest of the team as PFs. I'm not a big enough FF fan to pick up PFs of the characters but if Koto were to release a modern FF set I'd more than likely pick those up and mix them in with my BD collection.

Exactly, a pf FF set would be well over $1000, whereas a koto set would be affordable.

Well, if Koto ever get around to actually releasing a modern FF set, I would be all over it. I actually like the last releases of the BD Thing and Human Torch. However, all of their Reed and Sue sculpts look very dated and mediocre. I love the Big G MAQ. Unfortunately, I don't have enough room for it. On top of that, it has no ES. No way I spend that kind of $$$ on an open ES piece. I must admit though, it is a sick looking statue and would look great towering over a 1/6 scale FF set.

I wouldn't pass on the PFs strictly because of the $$$. If I was a big fan of the FF, I'd certainly pick up the whole team as PFs from SSC. I just don't love the FF as much as I like the X-MEN or the Avengers. Space is at a premium for me and I have to really love a character to pick it up in 1/4 scale. That's why I don't collect lines from SSC. I just grab the characters I like most in the Marvel U.
With my Bowen and Koto pieces, I have a lot more lines and characters in my collection. First off, they are not space hogs so displaying them is easy. Secondly, they cost less than SSC pieces so you get more characters for your $$$. Lastly, between BD and Koto, just about every major Marvel character has been released. That's not the case with SSC's PFs. There are a ton of big Marvel characters missing ( Magneto, Juggy, Thanos, Daredevil, Phoenix, and Loki to name a few) from the PF line. Even if I had the space and $$$ many important characters are missing to complete PF lines. Hell, if I was a major FF fan, I'd still be waiting for SSC to release the other 3 members of the FF as PFs. That would drive me crazy. That's why I decided long ago that I would complete lines in my BD and Koto collection and only cherry pick my absolute favorite characters from SSC.

anyone have any idea what that green sphere inside the base is all about
some have said that this will have a similar pose to that of the Doom LSF...from this pic it certainly looks like it. Only makes sense when having one leg pirched up like that that his arms would have to be doing something rather than down by his sides right? Maybe the fist pump action?? What say you?

Maybe hes holding some piece of awesome tech with some sort of lightup feature. Like a drone or maybe even the Cosmic Cube. Doom has gotten his hands on it in the comics. Also the sphere could be a destroyed part feom one of his Doombots as if this is a scene from the middle of a battle. Maybe this'll be followed up by PFs of the FF team

HOLY SHYTE! I was just checking out the video for the modern Thor PF and Doom was revealed in the lower right corner of the concept art at around the 6 second mark. WOW! All I can say is that if that's the pose for the new PF then I am over the moon happy. Just what I have always wanted...a standing Doom PF. Can't wait to finally see some full pics of the new Doom PF. I gotta say, as hugely disappointed as I was with the new Hulk PF, the modern Thor and this Doom PF seem to be right on point. I have a strong feeling both of those PFs will be day one orders for me.
