I wish they did Dr Doom's castle as the base. Just some stone steps or from the roof of his castle.

I think there was missed potential there. Doesn't sound like Marvel (or whoever) would have allowed it though, given someone put a stop to the awesomeness on the first base.

We need to get the guys from the original Doom PF back here for them to create magic again, and talk some sense in the 'higher ups.'

2 heads?? I'm an idiot, always thought it came with just one. The classic one looks better with this to me, where the modern looked better on the legendary scale. Really hope my EX converts. :pray:

Waiting for some reviews. Not in the PF market, but had to get the last Punisher one. Being my favorite baddie, I might jump on this one.

You can't go wrong with Doom in your collection. He's an awesome villain. I don't think he'll be joining mine, but definitely worthy.

I think hype from the last Doom PF will drive hype on this one, sooner rather than later.

That video really adds a different perspective on it which is getting me more excited to have this in hand. Wishing the Ex. would have stayed lower in es but glad to see some fellow collectors on here converting. Hoping the quality remains constant through the release.

Wow, he looks GREAT in the video. I think I'm going to be thrilled with the way Doom looks. My last few PFs turned out fantastic. I received Lobo a few weeks ago and now Doom will be shipping out tomorrow. Lobo is a phenomenal piece and I expect Doom to be impressive as well. Modern Thor and Emma are next. Of those 2, Emma is the one I worry about most. SSC's Marvel female PFs are very hit or miss. Especially in the X-line.

When did they announce the EX ES blunder? 2 days ago right? I REALLY hope I get a conversion. I am kicking myself right now for not ordering when it 1st was announced

Almost didn't even feel like the same statue, when compared to the previous pics. I don't know if it was the image quality, but this latest video really impressed me.

Thor will not disappoint, but I agree with your concerns about Emma. I'm staying clear of her. I hope I'm wrong though.
