Super Freak
Aliens.
Chuck Norris is my best guess
Aliens.
She's crazy. But, if I met her, I'd be like, "yeah, dinosaurs shminosaurs!".
Well, the Bible's actually a compilation of books by many different authors. Most Christians (the reasonable ones) don't view six-day creationism as being something literal. But, I've met people who do . It wouldn't matter if you take them to a museum, or show them evidence of how old the Earth is. They'll either assume that they know more than the actual scientists, or shrug it off as a New World Order conspiracy led by Satan-worshiping atheists.
Can I lock her in a room with Stephen Hawking?
Right ok I've never read the Bible and I'm not particularly religious, so please excuse my ignorance, but if the Bible is the truth and the Earth is only 6000 years old, who wrote and published the Bible....
As a avid God believer. My judgment comes from thinking upon the creator. First off if you read Genesis Adam is created without growing up and the earth was in 7 days. So in essence being the word "God" being a supreme being of power... The chances of lack of thinking of wonder can a supreme being control time, space and continuum means that 7 days could have been 6 billion years in a sped up process. Sorta like fast forwarding your Sim on Sims with a book to level up.
Anywho... in other news this thread is ********.
there is actual proof as to why the earth is only 6000 years old, we have been lied to, how do you even explain this?
but the moon would be touching the earth!
Well, the moon does recede from the Earth about an addition inch every year. But, the flaw in the general "creationist" argument is assuming that you could extrapolate the distance back to 1.2 billion years, where it would have been touching the Earth. The math works out, but it fails to recognize that the moon was formed at some distance away from the Earth. In addition, the sweeping orbits of the Earth and moon, would have taken some time to stabilize, before the moon would even begin to recede.
