It amazes me how people go around slaming other people's choices in movies. It's like going into an Italian restaruant and trying to explain to everyone why pasta sucks.

As for the trade federation's guys accent. I don't think it's a French accent. It doesn't even sound remotely like a French accent. If you want to hear someone speaking English with a french accent, check out the Merovingian. THAT'S a French accent.

Just so you know, their accents were Japanese in TPM, not French.
