If you want a good camera, spend a little more. I like my Nikon D40. It was $550ish and came with tons of accessories.

Man I dropped $600 on a D80. I don't know what the hell im thinking. I know nothing about dslr cameras. But it was a good deal, and I was gettting tired of using my camcorders camera function...

:rock

Picked a camera yesterday, nothing expensive, $120 Samsung SL202.

Love it! Takes clean, crisp pics. Perfect for what I use it for.

Some pix.

Gotta love easy! My boss has a super nice camera but there are too many damn options...it's gets confusing...especially since I never read the manuals. :lol

Yeah, i had borrowed my sisters $500 camera after mine broke and I had a hell of a time get a good picture with it. I freakin hated it :banghead

That's what she said.

Nice looking pics, King! :rock

Why thank you Battsworth! I do hope you enjoyed them.

I got a Canon Rebel a couple of months ago... I'm still trying to figure it out. :lol

Congrats on the camera pickup and nice shots.

I know what you mean by the higher end cameras being more difficult to use. I used to use a Panasonic Lumix camera and it took great pictures easily. But because I'm an elitist snob I went to a higher end Nikon which requires some more effort. :lol :banghead That being said, I don't regret it.

Agreed. I had a Nikon D40X and it was 1000x better than my old point and shoot. Now I have a D90, and it blows the D40x away.

Add in some good software, and you will be amazed at what you can do. I have Lightroom, and it has saved many pix I thought I screwed up.

yur new camera takes good pics king,im actually needing a good camera as well..........i have been looking at the panasonic TZ5A........anyone hear about this or can recommend anything in that $200 price range?

I heard about this camera that one of my relative tested it, he said that it's a little bit hard to take a sharp picture, especially take a pic without using tripod.

others are good. However, i don't think Panasonic is a best choice for you,if you have a plan to use it for long period, you should looking for a real camera manufacturer such as Nikon or canon.

I recommend Ricoh R8, I think it's price gonna be around 200 USD but I'm not sure.Hope you found yours,I just said something I know, choose the one you like best! you'll never disappointed.

it seems like theres a lot of hype with the powershots............but theres just so many of them to choose from, i dont have any knowledge when it comes to cameras really :(

I have a Sony that takes pics directly to mini disc that I still can't figure out. Damn thing. I paid a hell of a price for it too. I'm thinking of selling it.
