Of course they will. Nothing wrong with that either. I'm sure they'll make the blue ninja viper, but I bet it will be a darker blue instead of the light blue.

So far . . . we have a black ninja (Snake Eyes), a white ninja (Storm Shadow), and the upcoming Red Ninja.
Might as well go for the rainbow approach . . . Sideshow needs to produce a blue ninja, an orange ninja, a purple ninja, a pink ninja, etc.
Milk everything they can out of those accessories, molds, outfits, etc.
Interesting perspective.
I consider Snake Eyes and Stormshadow to be stand-alone characters...not necessarily generic ninjas. So, to me, the only color of ninja represented so far is red.
That being said...I am all for white, brown, black, and camoflaged ninjas to be released. And whether they are GI Joe canon or not, I am good with them just as I am good with the desert troopers.
Desert Ninjas...now there is a cool thought.

Desert CAMO ninjas . . . three color pattern . . . chocolate chip pattern . . . plain khaki/tan pattern . . . HELL . . . how about a ACU pattern ninja?
Wait a minute . . . I believe Crazy Owners/IGNITE already produced a camouflage pattern ninja, but it's worthless without the GI JOE logo/seal on it!

The comic made Firefly and I think even Cobra Commander into ninjas as well. So going by that we already have grey and blue ninjas in this line.

if it makes them money so the line continues, who cares. I'm getting 2 Red Ninjas and I'd probably get another one if the color scheme was cool enough. Granted, only my 1st Red Ninja will come from SSC, the others will either be from parted out figures or Hastings.

Heh, the OpFor. I remember him. He was always going off about his Jason 3 collection in his mom's basement and how Firefly isn't part of Cobra because he "comes and goes as he pleases." Everybody hated that guy, I wonder what ever happened to him...

Just realised the description states simply "Pro" and doesn't say 1.0 or 1.1, think that means the 1.0 will be what we get for this one?

I'm not complaining, but I don't know why they went with the 1.1 for Firefly and then go back to the 1.0 for the Ninja. Is it like a racial thing?

Since the intro of the 1.1 and 1.2 it appears that the main characters are getting the epic treatment and the troops and ninjas are still coming out on the 1.0. I guess they ended up a little short on the gene pool and thus never became named characters.
