Just saying you don't even have to reach to stay on par with your comic-based collection. :wink1:

Ah, I get ya now. I'm just happy that Wolverine now has someone to stab. :)

Did you change the pants? I thought SSC's Red Ninjas couldn't do the splits.

I adjusted them like some people suggested earlier in this thread. Basically, I took off the shin armor, then hiked up the pants just to the point where the top tie on the shin armor would hold down the bottoms of the pants. I pulled the gi top over the pants so it wouldn't be obvious that I pulled them up so high. For the photos, a couple of favorable angles hide the fact that from just below the knee to the ankle is bare "flesh".

Before my adjustments, his leg articulation was virtually nil because of it, so you are correct.

If you wanna get real technical, most 1/6th figures from Marvel and DC licenses are movie based and not comic based so a true "comic based" collection would be pretty thin. :lol

Given 100% of the comic character movies have had comic book tie-ins, that's not true. :pfft:

If without any specific mention on the packaging or the licensing one perceives the GI Joe line to be cartoon related, it would be consistent to consider a Dark Knight Ledger Joker or Jackman Wolverine (supported by explicit referencing on the packaging and the license itself and of course the actor likeness and costume design) to be from a movie rather than directly from a comic book.

Doesn't change the fact that those movies have had official comic adaptions. :nana:

So he can say that he's collecting the toy based on the comic adaptation of the movie adaptation of comic book characters?

Awesome! What ever we need to do to fit something into our justification system, works. :lol

I have an opt-in clause on my habit. Its called "It's cool and I like it."

(They really made a comic book with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine?)

Just two examples:

I'm certain there's one for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, I just don't care to designate the time looking for it for such a suckass movie. :lol
