Majority of these pieces don't weigh more than 30lbs. If that's the fear then I hope everyone realizes that the Detolf has a MUCH lower weight capacity. Secondly for those of you that think its expensive, I'd like to see anyone find a cheaper one that can hold the same capacity without having to special order it from one of those sites that rapes your wallet. Also leaving these things uncovered leaves them susceptible to dust and other dangers. I like it because there's a lot of space vertically and around and leaves room for additional background items like framed comics and prints to better highlight and display these amazing pieces. And if the glass scares you maybe a double layer would leave you at ease. Just a suggestion and the cheapest and best display option I've found so far. If anyone has better PLEASE let us ALL know. But you unless you want to leave them on topnofnsome shelf or a lame coffee table or some nonsense. I've seen some collections and to be honest IMO the way they've been displayed sucks *****. :peace

Good point. What is the width though? For example, the duo base with Monster and Bride PF is 13 inches across. Is this shelf unit wide enough or will it only fit one PF? Ideally, it would be nice to put Supes next to Wonder Woman PF when they come out, etc...

*NVM just saw the width on Ikea site* Thanks for the suggestion guys :)

I am going to have to pass on this one... she's just way too big. I'm already dreading finding a spot for Batman and she's taller than he is. :(

One word for you my friend...
BESTA!

Even though this won't fit in one. She will stand proudly on top of mine.

I ended up Pre-ordering the EX, as this caught my eye a while ago, and it just looks great. I figure that in a worst case scenario, I'll lose the NRD if I have to cancel; however, if I keep it, the EX is the way to go here (though the axe does look nice too!) With that in mind, and not wanting to miss out on the severed head, I figured I might as well order it and see what happens! It's a beautiful piece!

I don't think you can use that "coupon" (I'm assuming you mean gift card) on this purchase. It can only be used on items in-stock that are gift card elegible.

Yeah, I just found this out when trying to order :slap That's one of those "gifts" they give to really be used on stuff that you otherwise wouldn't have purchased :) Ah well, that's okay.

Hey guys!

I'm thinking of ordering Red Sonja, looks awesome! but I'm not sure how much shipping might cost. In your experiences, how much would this piece ship for to Canada? Thanks for any info!

I just received my Darth Vader Mythos from Sideshow to Ontario, and it was $40 shipping! It used to be $25 flat, I believe, but that looks to have changed. I'd expect at least $40 for this piece as well.

Bestas can't really hold these guys in a way that can display them all around. Also BBestas are limited in space. Both width and height. I've looked man, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

Anywhere between $30-$40.

Thanks for the info guys! Yeah, I remember ordering a statue maybe 2 or 3 years ago from them and I do remember it being $25. But $40 isn't too bad overall I think.

If I discovered Besta years ago I would of saved a fortune.
Amazing display. Who wants to look at the side of a statue?

Nothing can display something all around unless you stick it somewhere you can walk around it, Not had a problem with Besta's except for the bigger stuff that just goes on the top with a custom glass case, but that's what ikea Pax are for :wink1:

Why would't you? A lot of them have intricate designs all around., For example you won't even see the back of Sonja's massive coat/cape unless you have certain kinds of displays, but it's an awesome aspect of the statue to ignore.

Still trying to figure out how to get the Beserker in my Besta :rotfl
