Hmmm. This or the new Wolvie? I have the last Sonja and the last (brown suit) Wolvie. And a bunch of rewards I’ve been hoarding for the last few years.

My $.02- The Ex on Wolverine is going to be more compelling for more people, so even with a higher ES that will be the one to sell out first. If you are at all appreciative of the Ex head, I'd grab that statue first.
I had my eye on both of these too, along with the upcoming WW. While I think the Logan head is the better realized of the two (better paint apps, primarily) I would only be interested in displaying him with the mask, so the Ex isn't as compelling to me. I feel like I can wait on the Reg till a truly good deal comes up.
With Sonja, while I love the look that the banner adds, it's nothing that I can't replicate for the most part myself. That makes the CE, with it's free shipping offer, the more compelling option for me. I used my rewards points and will be getting the CE shipped to me for just under $400.

It comes down to which statue you prefer more... I find RS hot and sexy. Yeah she's a statue... so what! hehe Anyway, my point is you buy what you like and want vs. what is more popular. If you want to go with what's popular and more than likely to have a greater resell, go with Wolvie, but also know the market is oversaturated with Wolverine statues and there will be plenty of kick-arse Wolverine statues coming out in the future. You will have far more opportunity to get a killer Wolverine that may make the ones we own look like poop. Even this new one. Where as I passed up the last two RS PFs, but this one has me... wowsahs!

I think I agree with the logic in buying the regular edition. You can easily craft or have crafted for you something like this to kick your statue up to 11. It's not a lot of money, I get it, but at the same time I'm disappointed SS didn't include something sculpted as the EX piece.

So I got mine and she is beautiful. Only problem is the axe couldn't connect because the tip of the hair got in the way. Tried to wiggle things around only to have the tip break as I had feared. I reached out to Sideshow but still disappointed that I had to deal with that ****. I suspect due to some residue stuck at the bottom of the neck was causing it to protrude higher than it should thus blocking the connection.
The good news is the paint job is excellent with no defects outside of that stupid issue.

A few more pics after super gluing the piece that broke off and shifting things around. Compared to the production pics you can see the hair is a couple mm too high. Still a beautiful piece I can look at everyday. I would still want to replace the head with one that has the bottom of the neck properly sanded though.

Not sure to be honest.
I just have to say it. This is my favorite statue to date. I have several Marvel ones and I think I like this better than Thanos on a throne . It's just so well done. SSC just needs to keep up the same level of quality as this piece and they will be on the up and up. I'm still gushing over it.
Edit: Sideshow has responded and is sending me a new head. So happy, no hassle. Don't know if it's just pure luck with perfect paint job and then sending me a head right away but props to Sideshow where it's due.

Her garter belt strap is connected to nothing.
Yeah that's by design it seems. I had to adjust the belt. It looks fine at home. Just haven't bothered to take new pics yet. If you look at the sideshow pics you can see the belt lines up there.
She looks great.
