Excellent....

Would anyone know what paint brand and which paint code would match the skin tone for this Red Sonja PF?

There is a defect on my EX that I should've noticed earlier, but didn't until later. And now SSC is telling me they don't have a replacement that would look any better. So now I'm trying to see if I can fix it or not. If I can fix it then I'll keep the EX ...if I can't then it goes back for a full refund.

Here's some pics of it. Its on her left leg right above the leg band. Everything else is perfect except for this.

Yea, matching the paint is going to be the hard part I think. Hoping that someone with expertise would be able to suggest a paint brand and paint code. I know I can sand it smooth above the leg band ...and then paint it. But if only I can match the paint, then maybe its doable.

What are you seeing?????

AC's is the one on the right.

well, if you figure out paint colors on this piece, please let me know the color they use on the fang so I can paint over the chip on mine.

No way I'd try to fix that. You'll have a tough time getting it to match. If they do it like me which I'm sure they don't, the final tone of the skin is the result of several different shades.

Can anybody make a comment on the hair in the front? I have read in this thread that the hair on the forehead is made of a sort-of-gummy material (different to the rest of the hair). However, not sure if this is the case only for the last batch of statues, after Sideshow realized that some of the first statues produced were arriving to the customers with that hair broken. It seems to me the case for these last pictures (with even different color to the rest of the hair!). Thanks.

Yeah I don't see it either... It looks a little warped but I don't see where it needs a paint touch up.

Were you looking at these pics? Do see where it needs to be sanded smooth and then painted?

When you get close to the statue, that's what you see. I thought I could sand it smoother and then paint it ...if I could match the skin tone.

Apparently, there might be some differences between the first batches that Sideshow was sending, and the last ones, in terms of used materials for the hair. Can anybody make a comment on the hair in the front? I have read in this thread that the hair on the forehead is made of a sort-of-gummy material (different to the rest of the hair/statue even in the color). However, not sure if this is the case only for the last batch of statues, after Sideshow realized that some of the first statues produced were arriving to the customers with that part of the hair broken. Thanks.
