This looks really good so far. I'd love a Red Sonja statue. I have little doubt the final product will be garbage though. Hopefully it's not.

Yeah, the main reason I'd be nervous with this is -- as I mentioned -- the major skin change of the first one out of nowhere. It really changed the look of the statue drastically. I'm really eager to see how this one looks, and I hope temptation doesn't get the best of me...I'll wait and see. I don't do lost NRDs anymore. 
I'll be shocked if I don't order this. Pretty much a guarantee for me.

I KNOW it'll look great. I know it. They'd have to really mess up the upper half (and I mean head/face, not the upper "half" that most think of
) to make it not look great. I just loved the whiter red head look (which she actually is) of the proto so much more than the production piece the last time out. If they could guarantee that wouldn't happen (which it really shouldn't, as it's an entirely different skin colour) then I'd be even more apt to pick it up.In the end, as great as it looks, it'll come down to really seeing how much is coming out next year! 2016 is already looking to be pricey on my end, and I'm hoping to delve even more into the Prime 1 Arkham line when pieces are revealed...so as tempting as EVERYTHING seems to be this year (seriously, so much great stuff on display!) I'm going to have to be strict with myself.
And we all know that's easy for us...right?

A more tan skin wouldn't bother me for this. I think the pale went great with th snow for the last, which I can see why people weren't happy for the skin change. The skin doesn't really bother me, though like you said G_B, those repaints are extraordinary!

The skin on the last one didnt matter, the real aggravating issue for me was the eye color change- made her eyes look black from normal viewing distance. Other than that I think she was pretty much perfect.

Initially I wanted many of the CotD, but the prices scared me away. Psychologically I was prepared for $350-$400 per statue but most are well above that threshold. Seems to be the new normal, though.

There's so much I want to see, but very little that I think I'm craving, which is great. Prices are too high for me to be eager to see a dozen things. That said, there's still plenty on deck that I'd love!
Seeing the recent Shard picture has knocked her off the block for me. She looks fantastic, just not for me. This one I'm really eager to see. I lost the NRD on the first due to cancelling, but if this one turns out well as a whole, it may be too good to pass up. I've already got Prime 1 Batman on PO, so I can't wait to see him. But knowing that line is going to go deeper has made me eager to get a couple of more of those, which makes wanting other things a little easier to avoid. I emphasize the word "little."
I'm sure we'll see shots of this tonight, and that initial feeling when I see the entire piece will tell a lot for me! Really looking forward to it!
