REMINDER - Custom head commission projects are not allowed

Just a refresher for new members and recent joins by sculptors.

We do not allow commission projects on this forum. No money may be collected for the promise of future work.

If something is not in hand and ready to ship within 30 days of payment, then it CANNOT BE SOLD ON THIS FORUM.

Any posts or solicitations that violate these rules will be deleted.

Does that mean starting an interest thread is also not allowed? i.e. no money taken until sculpt is shown.

Interest thread is ok without asking for money upfront, or at least show some pics of the sculpt and then ask for a deposit.

But NO full payment before anything is shown.

This only applies to heads? I need someone to make custom clothes for me, and hope to find a tailor here.

Pretty sure it applies to anything. Heads, shoulders, knees, and toes, etc.

This part sounds quite clear, but I'm not sure I understand. Does it mean I cannot ask someone on this forum to create custom clothing for me?

Yes you are still able to do that.

BUT no full payment are allwoed until the project is finished.

Shouldn't the thread title be slightly ammended then? 'custom commission projects with pre-payment are not allowed'

It is not specific to heads, and there is no problem to commission anything if you're not pre-paying - from what I understand.

As it stands the thread title is misleading and will lead to people continually asking the same questions.
