Just bought a Tony Meis' custom EB Batman cape!
Outstanding! Man, the guy knows capes!

As much as I love the EB batman, I felt there was just that one detail that kept really bugging me. I really love how in the movies, his cape is just deep black, just one of those details that I find really cool.
EB's stock cape is actually very nice, much better than usual Hot Toys stock figure, but for me, one thing that kept this figure from pretty much perfect in my eyes is the cape.
I've had several capes from Tony now and his capes have always made the figures so much better, and so when he offered his new EB batman cape, I finally caved.
I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!
In the display under the LED lights, it looks like this figure is pretty much straight from the movies, and best of all, his cape has this deep Rich Black. Much like in the movies, it has this huge contrast with the suit. It also has this really nice velvet texture. Very nice material.
Really glad to have people like Tony on this board...a tremendous talent to help us on our mods.

Thanks man, indeed, Tony's pretty much perfected this figure for me.
I had a hard time pulling the trigger at first cause I do love the stock cape. But now that I have the custom one, it sealed the deal to that one thing that really kinda has been nagging at me. I really wanted to have that deep black cape like in the movies.
Very happy with this mod.

Being a huge Batman fan, I didnt think I could love this figure anymore, but the cape elevated it even further.
Cant really say I've fallen in love with the figure again, cause I've always loved looking at this.
My dad stays with me when he is in town, and he teases me and asks me if its my Religious Altar.
He sees me just standing there many times and admiring it so he asks if I'm praying to it.
