I received my ACI Aragorn last night! What a fantastic figure!!!

The sculpt is magnificent. Lots and lots of accessories.
Besides the sculpt, one of the things that I am very impressed with, is the weathering. I've done quite a few weathering mods and it is very meticulous and time consuming. For a mass produced figure, it looks like they have spent a long time weathering each figure.
So the real hair and weathering really adds a lot of realism to Aragorn.
Of course...lol...his 80's Bon Jovi haircut needs some styling, so I went ahead and gave him a little bit of haircut, and lots of hair wax.
His hair reacts to hair wax really well, and gives him that greasy Grungy hairstyle.

I am extremely extremely extremely happy with this figure!!!

Thank you my friend.

After watching the movie again, I thought my first crack styling the hair was a little too groomed.
So I tweaked the hair a little more.
I cut some more hair, and grunged it up some more with water and hair wax.
I think it turned out much better...I like it a lot.

Another aragorn update. Lol, just in case you can't tell, I really love this figure.

Although the stock Anduril sword is pretty impressive, personally, I found it a little on the small side.
Anduril was very very massive in the movie. Actually too big even.

I found out that one of the best LOTR official sword, made by United Cutlery, also made a letter opener.
I have to say, it is very very impressive!!!

Lengthwise, It is a little on the long side. It probably could have been about .75" to an 1" shorter.
But sizewise, I think its more in scale.

I repainted my other MOS figure awhile back...probably a month after I painted the first version, but I just never got around to posting the pics.
Snyder used two different filters in the movie...one giving him the dark blue suit...the other a brighter blue, like in the interrogation scene, and
on the scene right after the smallville fight where Martha tells Clark "nice suit son".
And from seeing the trailer, Snyder may be going by this filter for the 2nd movie.

I bought a Neca Smeagol which is magnificent specially for the price.
I've been watching the youtube reviews on this, and everyone says its outstanding.
Now that I have it, there is no exageration. It is pretty much hot toys quality.
And its a steal for only a little over $40.

The only flaws that I found that I had to mod was the hair and eyes.
The hair was too long, so I gave it a haircut, and used hair wax.
The other was the eyes. It didnt have any depth, and had the doll dot. And also, the pupils were very small.
So I repainted the eyes, and made the pupils bigger.
