Repainted Leia

Your re-paints are fantastic, it's just unfortunate that looking at them makes me want to throw my "untouched" figures in the bin - factory paint apps suck !

I think its great from the painting perspective. The eyebrows and all that is brilliant. I just think she needs to be almost Snow White pale and pinker in spots and not your traditional flesh mix which works great for most.

I like the repainted version, but she does sort of look like she just took her makeup off and is getting ready for bed.

That's an excellent way of putting it. Fisher wore some heavy duty makeup in the film and I think your fantastic repaint is missing some of that. I like the technique used on the eyebrows and eyelashes but in this case, being a female sculpt, the eyebrows could benefit from some "tweezing" and the eyelashes could use some thick mascara...

Just some observations. You are definitely one of the elite painters on the forum.

You do awesome work. I could never replicate any of your repaints. That being said, this is the only repaint thus far where I have liked the original better. Still, though, your skills are ridiculously good.

This is a picture I took of my Leia before the repaint. Compare it to the stock photo. I think this is closer what the figure actually looks like (i.e. yellow skin, black hair). I do think Leia needs makeup though, at least for this outfit.

Ok went back and added alittle more makeup. It took me awhile to round up a good pic of Princess Leia. But anyway here she is let me know what you guys think.

Repaint is quite nice, acutally. Maybe give the eyes some makeup to them, kinda like a little eyeliner - only thing that jumped out at me. But you made her look younger than in the the production version, which is good. She was 18 when Fisher filmed SW.

Production version is too yellow - looks like she has jaundice

I definitely like it better.

You thinned out her eyebrows, which is the first thing that I noticed. Eye lashes look better, too. Gloss to lips look nice. Subtle changes that definitely gives a more feminine look, if you will. Great job, my friend.
