I've been real quiet on the MGSV boards, but judging by how well Kojima conveys the stories of his last 2 MGS games, I have this sinking feeling that it's not gonna live up to expectations. MGS1 and 2 were the only times the series was ever smart, and it was downhill from there.

I love MGS3, but yeah it wasn't what I expected. The Boss was the only thing I really loved in the game character wise.

Frankly, I'm way more excited over this than I have been with MGSV...

Never played the remake in the first place, due to le me not having a cube.
But now...0...1 AAAAND 2 remade, all on the one?

I will party my new beamer with my XB One so damn hard.

It is pretty amazing to have all three of these released within years of each other. The remastered REmake was done well, Zero will be no different... I just hope they're going with an old school feel with REmake 2.

RE2 was probably demanded as much as the FF7 remake, and both are now going forward.

I'm 28, not old... it just feels like a millennia ago that RE2 originally came out.

I'm 25 now and I have been waiting and hearing about this since 15. It feels like years ago but not really. With re2 I want the gameplay of re4 but the feel of two and three.i want to feel overwhelmed (we are in a city after all) I want hordes of zombies coming after you. I don't want the game to hold your hand either.


I feel like this might be a disappointment given how capcom does things. Let's hope not.

It went downhill with MGS3 because while it changed up the series significantly and was great overall, Kojima's been trying to make another MGS3 the whole time, but he never got what made MGS3 what it was. It's the same with RE4, Capcom just doesn't know what made RE4 the hit it is. They're fantastic games that moved the series forward....but they each have a horrible legacy.

I love MGS3, but yeah it wasn't what I expected. The Boss was the only thing I really loved in the game character wise.

Same, wasn't sure what to truly expect from MGS3. Naked Snake was interesting, and Eva was...amusing. Ocelot I couldn't really take seriously though

It's not. Like it's really not going to. Oh it'll beat out PW, and GZ but the former is a portable game and the latter is a glorified demo. But I don't think it'll be that great compared to the first three MGS games.

Cannot wait. I guess I'll be importing a physical copy from Japan again. I hope they do a map of the city this time like they did a map of the mansion from the RE Remake Collector's Edition.

I hope they give Claire more weapons, or upgrades. She should get a magnum revolver at least.

You mentioned the Factory part, it has a cool vibe and I would love to explore more of it.
