I.. have a confession. A dirty, shameful confession.

I've never beaten RE2 without the infinite ammo cheat.

I mean, it's just there, literally waiting to be used! It's like someone asking you, "would you like a FREE can of soda?" YES I would!

I feel ashamed, maybe I should do a clean playtrough soon.

Don't even look at me scrub. Not until you do a knife only run.

Claire A/Leon B is the official scenario. It leads to how Sherry has G healing powers in RE6 and it's how Darkside Chronicles portrays it. Though, the part where Claire says she has to find Chris in her B ending is also canon whereas Leon Bs "its up to us to take out umbrella" isn't.

I picked up on that recently. Dependent upon the scenario chosen, they'll either hit it head on or do a 180.

I'd love to see a G3 Birkin of this caliber. That form was always my favorite of his.

To me, this is the perfect form of a Tyrant, and he only got weaker there after. Sure he got faster with G4, but this form was the most intimidating.

I always found the most haunting on this design and his mutation, how is humanity faded more and more.

1st: His head was in a normal place, but already crooked.
2nd: This beak-like thing popped out and his normal head subsided into his chest.
3rd: Almost gone, only few traces of his face a snitch below his chest area.

RE2 is almost perfect in every sense, if you ask me.
After CV, RE was kinda dead to me...

Having the virus basically discard his human form and building a new one, and keeping his human form as a vestigial appendage is very creepy... and seems like it's worse than death. It would be one thing if he retained his humanity, but the virus basically became it's own being.

Like Seth Brundle, but his thoughts were more pure, so William got what´s coming to him.

But anyhow...let´s assume a conscience component and his very conscience was alive in there and getting:
"Damn, what did I do, I´m endangering my daughter and I´m fading more and more into this thing."

Yeah, exactly.
Like Seth Brundle, but his thoughts were more pure, so William got what´s coming to him.

But anyhow...let´s assume a conscience component and his very conscience was alive in there and getting:

Yessss!! I was thinking the very same thing. It's very much like the transformation into Brundlefly, and complete loss of humanity. The 1986 Fly is my favorite Sci-Fi film of all time

Yep, it's very anti-climatic with no type of resolution. Although Leon A's ending is better than Claire's IMO.

Absolutely, what hell did Capcom think with those parasites?
Of course there were still the same characters...but...dunno...
Sony Santa Monica be like: "Yeah, sure...lets give Kratos a backpack and revamp GOW into a santa-like game.

RE4 definitely diverted the series, but I still think it's excellent... it's just Capcom read to much into it, and gave zombies guns in the sequels...

4 is still the best in the series.
Its the only one I can still play over and over even to this day.
I just played it a couple of months ago and everytime, I'm still amazed how well it hold ups.

The GL in RE2 is basically a glorified potato gun.

Better than Chris at this point, certainly. And it really is a potato gun...

RE4 definitely diverted the series, but I still think it's excellent... it's just Capcom read to much into it, and gave zombies guns in the sequels...

More like, they completely misunderstood what made RE so good
