Oh yeah….Hyper intelligent radioactive zombies…that also know how to use guns…or maybe they'll one step further and have them shoot lasers out of their eyes

Grasshopper zombies were the best!
and the guy that mutated enough to naturally form complex machinery out of bone and sinew into a perfectly functional chainsaw. BRILLIANT!

I don't understand why he kept morphing into different animals. His final form is a giant fly? Go **** yourself.

I didn't mind the Plagas in RE4... but RE5 version can **** off. Uroboros just looked like a big ball of trash bags to me.

Hey folks, I just bought a sweet PS2 bundle from a friend recently, & of course now I'm chasing up all the great games that I'd dig. I've already got MGS 2 & 3, Tomb Raider AoD, GT 3 & 4 etc. RE4 is the next one I'm keen on. Is the PS2 port of RE4 good? I checked out the wiki page, & they seem to suggest it is.. & the Gamecube version was first, right?

I've checked out some PS2 screenshots, but haven't watched any footage on Youtube or anything.

The ps2 port is ( for me anyway ) at this point the worst version of the game. It has Ada's scenario which the GC doesnt. But the gamecube has " fog " and widescreen/black bars which gives the game a whole new feel. Normally id say that the ps2 version having more content makes it better than the GC version but then the HD remaster for ps3 and 360 came out which beats the original versions. It doesnt have the fog but its much nicer on the eye due to how much its been cleaned up. And then theres the Ultimate HD edition on PC which blows he HD remaster on the consoles out of the water too.

Re 4 is an awesome game but if you have a ps3, 360 or decent PC then id avoid the ps2 version.

Its PSN only for us but in Japan they did get disc versions

Yeah.. damn, PS2 version it is then. I don't download stuff, & my PS3 is the 12GB one anyway, so I'm betting I'd need way more space just to have the game stored, let alone be able to play other games on top with it in there.

What's so 'bad' about the PS2 version anyway? I'm not terribly fussed with current gen this or that (I'm loving my PS1 all over again at the moment), so.. yeah.
