Worst campaign in the series I think.

Why the **** do the newcomers like it the most? Even for a generic TPS it's bad!

the fans or the enemies? :lol

I HATE the mutations and this game and the enemy designs. It's so annoying to have pump more bullets into an enemy for what isn't really a fault of my own.

Zero actually did have some good enemies like the Leech Man. The eliminators suck solely for appearing too little, and for resulting in pathetically weak Hunters. Who would be afraid of a zombie monkey? :lol Lurkers are meh, more of an annoyance and the bosses aren't terrible

Otherwise the rest of Zero is quite uninspired

The Leech Man was the most different than anything that came before it. A giant scorpion, centipede, crickets, and a bat... ugh boo ****ing boring. Proto Tyrant was cool though and more interesting than T-002.

Yet Re 1 gets a free pass having sharks, a giant shark, spiders, a giant spider, bee's, dogs, crows, snakes, a giant snake & plant. ( and a tick if you want to include the Saturn version )

RE1 was the first game in the series and clearly had a more limited budget, so I give it a pass. Zero was made over 5 years later, and plus you can tell there's some odd re-use like the Training Hall room looking like the spencer mansion's entrance hall, and the weird re-use of the RE2 elevator area that made things more convoluted.

But the Neptune, Ceberus and the Yawn look ****ed up and look different enough from their origins. The Web Spinners were always dog **** and were just fluff for areas they didn't know what to do with.

**** the giant spiders, get that **** out of here! The only thing I like is how most of the time they're just there for ambiance and subtlety cause they don't even bother you.

Plus most of the RE1 monsters/enemies had a purpose explained in files and in some cases had build up. None of that was present in Zero. Where did the centipede come from? Giant Scorpion that somehow got in the train? The bat? The Tyrant was shown earlier I think but that's all.

Yeah, it was experimented on and it ate all the researchers. Richard (and Rebecca in Chris's side) gave some background on it as well.

Have to wonder why umbrella would think it would be a great idea to make dangerous animals bigger and meaner. It's like they wanted **** to go wrong.

You should read Wesker's Report II. He states that he doesn't understand why Spencer put the mansion where he did considering there was so many living things that could get infected in the immediate are around it, which he states it's almost as if Spencer would want the virus to spread.

Really makes you wonder about Spencer...and I thought Marcus was weird.

Marcus should have been thrust punched and stomped by Wesker to make sure he wouldn't come back at all.

Who downloaded RE5?!

The neckbreak is way OP. Once i got the uzi in the first level i sold my pistol and just used the uzi to 1 shot the majini in the knee, and then neckbreak them from the back. I think the game suffers heavily by the fact it only has 9 inventory slots, each character should have 12. Its a bit glaring issue they regressed since re 4. Also, the levels are way to short, i seem to be doing each level in 10-20 minutes you just seem to breeze through areas where as in re 4 you seemed to hang around a while. The game plays fine, even if you just stand there watching sheva stood side by side to a Majini with her shotgun aimed and do nothing and then get hit.

Does the hit detection on the barrels feel odd to anybody else? I find myself slashing my knife, and half the time the barrels dont pop like i missed, or im too far away. But ivegot hundreds of hours on the game on ps3 and pc i know my distance. Im wondering if its some kind of ps4 framerate related problem where its not registering some of the frames and sometimes its the frames with the knife slash.
