Finally beat this on Professional and got my War Hero Achievement!

It wasn't without it's frustrations though, the Jill and Wesker fight was beyond annoying. The only thing that sucks is that my co-op partner Dee didn't get his achievements for Veteran or Pro, so gonna have to go thru again to help him out.

did it glitch and he didn't get it ?.
My friend said he completed it on pro and never got the achievment and he has actually done all the chapters on pro... kind of sucks.
I've got all the achievments for this but I might go back through it if my friend deletes his file and starts again.

I figured out how to rack up big points on Mercenaries mode and I unlocked all the stages and all the characters and have A ranks on each stage. Sheva and her bow rock!

Yea, Sheva and her BOW are quite good on Mercenaries. I've gotten S rating on pretty much all of them with Tribal Sheva. But STARS wesker and chris are just too badass to pass up. wish I could play the campaign with them

As for the achievement, I thought it was just me. I didn't get the achivement for saving Jill nor the one with damage on Wesker. I've done it twice and haven't gotten it yet, weird.

The only achivements I need are the one where you make a headshot on a majini while their jumping and kill 30 Majini with the bow. The one with the bow should be easy enough but trying to make that headshot is annoying. Meh I'll get eventually. Right now I'm having a blast with the Mercenaries.

The headshot one isn't that difficult if you know where to go. Try 1-1 where you fight the executioner and make sure you have a shotgun. Go up where you jump from the tops of the buildings to another in the middle of the lot. The bad guys jump to follow you and just aim upwards with the shotty and fire when one jumps. I got it first try.

I love infinite ammo. You'd think having infinite ammo would take the fun out of it, but blasting all those guys in the face with a shotgun over and over again never gets old.

It's funny how they built so much replay into it. You HAVE to play the levels over and over again to get enough points and gold to buy all the upgrades and you might as well go ahead and memorize all the tricks to get S rank, it's actually quite ingenious.

well, you can farm 3-1 or do the rotten egg trick for the cash, or replay most of the levels. I will say about mercs, it's a lot more than just memorizing the levels, you really got to have a strategy about yourself; and the character you pick really helps as well.

Finaly made the headshot (thanks for the advise THX-182) so now all I need is kill 30 Majini's with Sheva's bow to unlock all achivements.

Your definantly right about stratigizing on the Mercs Darth Caedus. I still can't get above a "B" ranking but I'm getting closer (It seems once there's only about 50 sec left on the timer, enemies become scarce).

As for Mercs, when I started I used to use Chris thinking his shotty was powerful enough to rack up combos and stuff but then I watched a youtube video with a guy using Jill in her baddie outfit and she uses a machine gun and sniper rifle. Sheva in BSAA outfit has similar weapons so I tried her and if you make good use of the machine gun in crowds then you can rack up some major combos. Her rifle kills in one hit most baddies and is good when you need to keep a combo going. I racked up 20+ combos a couple of times in the match so it works great. Also works good when you get the 1000x combo multiplier from the chest and can rack up combos with that. Good thing to do is to try and kill the Executioner by getting a good distance and sniping him till he drops to his knee and sniping his head. He'll go down quick.

Memorize where the time bonus's are and the combo multipliers and you should reach 40k points for an A rank no problem. Jill BSAA is your reward for an A rank there and is a good one to use till you unlock Sheva Tribal.

Midnight Wesker is simply a god in Mercenaries. Headshot+Melee cannot be beat. The melee is an instant kill and works as good crowd control. Plus, for every melee you do you get 5 seconds more. You could honestly go on forever if there weren't a stopping point. Plus, his magnum can be used to take down bosses quickly.

I can't seem to effectively use the midnight Wesker. I found him to be a bit hard to use because of his weapons. I may give him a try using the headshot melee combo you suggested.

Midnight Wesker is probably the best character you can unlock early. I used him for the majority of the missions to get my A ranking, to unlock the rest of the characters. His pistol is good and his magnum can take out the bosses. Stars Wesker I think has the best pistol out of everybody, one hit + melee kills every time, his shotgun is gnarly, but his magnum is weaker than his midnight counterpart. Tribal Sheva is a total cheapfest, once you get used to the bow and can normally shoot high points with her 1-hit bow kills + combo multipliers.
