I think RE7 will be fun, but the series has moved so far away from what made it unique than anything else that the series "story" sucks anymore.

I miss the old days of the games being file and note heavy. Those pickups in RE1 are the best of the series.

4 Itchy Tasty is the best file pickup in gaming.

I know Capcom isn't trying to spoil the game and keep somewhat a secret but so far nothing has me excited from the "characters" to the hillbilly/rednecks with supernatural powers. :lol I did like the wind howling in the background and some of the creepy settings. I'll hold judgement till I see some gameplay videos then decide to buy it or skip it.

If the demo didn't sell you on the game, best wait

I'm only intrigued by this game because it draws heavily from TCM and I get some odd Condemned vibes in there (with the items and all)

Sorry to hear it. For myself, I don't fully understand why i've always loved this kind of horror, but always have....

It will be good, but it's very far removed from the established story. I think it will have ties, but it comes off as being in a separate RE universe.

The style of gameplay of limited supplies and save points as well as backtracking is a welcome return for me.

I see alot of the original RE in this game. The atmosphere, environments, the weapons, being an ordinary person in an extraordinary situation.

The enemies look like great B.O.W designs, The Bakers remind me of Nemesis in their relentless persuit just without a Rocket Launcher. Im liking the direction of the new virus possibly being fungal or bacterial.

Ive also read there are alot of News paper articles, one or two written by an old friendly face along with the use of VHS tapes to watch and go back in time.

Im really excited for this. Im lucky that the only survival horror games I play are Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Dead Space, so the first person games are new to me.

21 days to go!

Still on the fence but I'll definitely play it. Hope it's good.

Edit.

Also I notice a sort of pattern. Every 3 games they switch the formula around . After 3 it was over the shoulder more action and after 6 first person?.

If the REmake2 demo is indeed coming with the game, then I'll buy it day one. If not, I think I can wait. :lol

Well i finally felt a little of the hype and Po'ed it. I wanted the dumb music box doll house...but the preorders are closed for it. Hopefully they have some dead stock. I mean honestly...how many people want a dumb doll house?

Hopefully it won't be another RE6. :lol

I hope the whole game isn't littered with that random and weird trigger ****. Like in the demo where you shoot the painting to trigger one of the murder mysteries. I ain't got time to be pointing a mannequin finger at every nook and cranny :lol

Nah...but it can be fun as long as its not stare at this particular spot for 5.1 seconds. Perform a quickturn three times. Face north and look at up at the cieling. BOOM heres a box of bullets :lol

I get "rewarding" the player for exploring and ****...but don't make it tedious and utterly ridiculous. I'll just look it up online anyway :lol

It needs to be just straightforward puzzles that don't take dozens of hours of random axe swiping in the air to figure out. RE puzzles for the most part have always been for babies, and it should stay that way.

The only puzzle I recall was with Ada's on the submarine... which made no sense whatsoever.

Spencer mansions puzzles outside of the mansion got too common in the series.

The chess piece plugs and the card themed keys in RE2 make no sense whatsoever. :lol I love it dearly, but c'mon now.

RE3 only had that stupid gem puzzle to get into city hall and replacing the statue piece, but otherwise it's pretty "real life" as far as RE goes. **** that Water puzzle.

Honestly I think and hope that was only for the demo to add more content and to give people hints to uncover.
