RE5 is a really good splitscreen/co-op action game, but barely embodies anything RE. Never played 6.

Felt the same way, it would be more acceptable under a different name but not, RE. I did like the demo though but it just doesnt have that RE feel to it.

Couldve been a great game if it focused on the USS infiltrating the labs without stealth camo and the rubbish, but also focused on playing as a U.B.C.S soldier dropped into the city. Could easily be full action one minute and an incredibly tense survival horror game the next

The interview says that the demo is just the demo and the game is different and people are saying it takes place in Louisiana. So i'm guessing backwards infected rednecks.

It did say on the newspaper "Ghosts sighted on Bayou" so that's probably right.

Looks like the demo is doing its job perfectly regardless. Its getting fans worked up about RE again

Still not sure about the whole game being first person though. I am used to playing that way a lot now thanks to Farcry 4, Doom and other games of the like but that is them and not supposed to be RE in my mind. It will take some adjusting.

So far I'm getting a Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibe from the demo, I'm definitely paying attention to the development of this game, for better of worse.

Definitely got the vibe for both, big time. It feels similar to how the creepy village was in RE4 as well, but taken to an extreme.

it would be pretty cool actually to play as a random villager while the plagas outbreak is happening around you. You could potentially have a "the thing" esque event going on...not knowing who to trust etc...I don't know if you could fill a whole game with that though. That seems more like a 4 hour downloadable game to me.
