Alright... That's gotta be the nicest Nemesis Jill I've seen yet. Did you lighten her tube top and paint the bottom of her skirt? It's very close to the REmake look.

Thanks Pliss! No, I just repainted the head and face, and did the water treatment for the clothes and repainted the skirt. The clothes take to the body incredibly nicely, with some really natural creases. I know you hate seamless bodies, but this one might (and rightly should) change your mind. :lol

Ah I see. The head turned out great. Really gives it way more life. Hmm, maybe I'll try to get the skirt painted on mine since it gives it contrast instead of just flat black.

Yup, contrast is the right word. The flat black shirt is just unappealing and of course inaccurate. What I did was brush on several layers of grey acrylic, which normally will make cloth material harden but doesn't affect the skirt since it's one straight line.

For the head, I recommend at least repainting the lips, as the paint on the Viking head makes her lips look too small.

The lighter hair really works since Jill's hair isn't as dark as the stock head. You said you did a water treatment on the clothing? What did that entail? The tube top looks noticeably lighter, in a good way. More accurate.

Yes, a lighter hair definitely adds to the figure too. I guess you can commission a repaint to get it over with since it indeed does make the head look nicer.

The water treatment is when you spray some water onto a clothed figure, futz it a bit and let it dry- it will usually stay in shape. It's infinitely useful when you want realistic creases or tidy up clothed figure or Jill's case, a more fitting tube top and a making her white shirt that she tied to her waist look more natural.

The new body certainly adds a lot too since there's no loose or baggy areas in the clothing.

Looks great!!! I might repainted the hair too.

The figure looks like a statue. Btw those damn socks stained the body.

Phicen S17B?

Thanks PA! Yeah, getting the figure to look like a PF statue is kinda the aim. I need to do some more futzing.

The S17B is the latest model, I had the prior S02A and I thought that can't be improved upon anymore and boy was I wrong. The shoulders and neck are much narrower and more natural looking, the biceps look more human, knees and elbow are shaded and gone are the poking nips, which I hated.

Swapped the boots. Still debating if I keep those or give her the original Viking ones. I repainted the hair but still looks dark.

Jill as Regina from Dino Crisis, I just updated the outfit a bit more. I was inspired by these two pics.

I'll probably paint the hair eventually.

Where did you get that watch? Mine isn't accurate.

I might send her skirt to a buddy on here to get painted, hell maybe even her hair.

Got it from monkey depot long ago when I first started the custom.

Thanks on the Regina. I wouldn't mind a remake of Dino Crisis.

Now I wish I had better paint skills to paint these two headsculpts.

I think the Claire sculpt is alright, better than what I've seen of it loose on eBay. Did you paint it? I would say it just needs more color to it.

I didn't. My hands get too shaky if I decide to paint something that small or paint details. :lol Yeah, it's lacking more color to it. It's too plain, needs some touching to make it less "manly".

Ah alright. Then it doesn't look so bad in hand. Lighter skin, painted eyes and lips would make worlds of difference.
