Yeah, I think the first Ourworld Jill is still out there as well.

I still want to get the Hot Heart Jill as well. I'll have a better idea on the quality of Hot Heart figures once I get Claire. Ideally I get both Jills and mix N match the parts I like.

I'm looking for a good Jill 1/6 scale and I don't know where to start with the products available now.
I looked at a lot of the previous pages on this thread and I really like the RE3 Jill customs by Project_A.
I don't really like the seamless bodies because of the rubber that can crease, melt, etc. And I like how he uses bodies with visible articulations (I know, I'm weird, but I much prefer posability over realistic bodies that we have to leave in a museum pose)
But if I want to do a Jill custom, what body should I use ? And is there a good RE3 set with head sculpt + clothes ?
I woulb be interested to know the details of Project_A customs. The bodies used, that sort of things. But maybe they are not available anymore.

And did someone get the new OurWorld RE3 Jill ? She has a seamless body but maybe I can work with that if the head sculpt is good, before finding a new body. But for now, there are only prototypes photos available.

I did. The figure will be released this week, so you will have to patiently wait for reviews

I’ll mix and match that OW Jill with the Viking one, and put the leftovers on eBay as a custom full figure.

If u dont have Jill yet, i think its Better Wait for the Hot Heart, dont really like the HS on Ourworld but maybe thats just me...

The sculpt looks great there imo but the paintwork, just like their previous Jill- is horrendous. That unruly rooted hair has got to go too.

Yeah I have both Jills coming to me. I plan to mix and match the sets. Ourworld Jill is shipping out tomorrow from OSK. I definitely prefer a lot more aspects on the Hot Heart set though.

I should get my Hot Heart Claire tomorrow. Anyone else getting her?

The problem with the Hot Heart set is to find a body with the same skin color.
I think the OurWorld isn't bad. There is some work to do with the rooted hair but the head sculpt is good.
Is the body a phicen ? Am I the only one afraid of the durability of these seamless bodies ?

No the body on ourworld Jill is not phicen. It's probably some recasted body of some sort.

Yeah seamless bodies are a concern...but everything degrades. I've come back after a couple years and moved the knee of a regular plastic body and the joint just snapped. I've had the little plastic sockets for balls joints crack which creates no grip to hold a ball joint. So it's not isolated to one type of body. These companies cut corners on every body type. The only good thing about plastic bodies is I can usually fix them. Seamless bodies are a little more tricky.

The rubber on phicen bodies is supposed to be medical grade or something...I dunno, we'll see in a few years. I haven't had a problem yet. It's inevitable though.

I mostly have 6" figures. I'm collecting since 2011 and I broke only one joint one time. I have only 3 1/6 figures so I don't know yet if they are more fragile.
But like you say, a plastic joint can be fixed or...even if it can't, you can still use some glue. The figure becomes a statue but at least you don't have to throw it. A rubber body with creases, melted parts are just garbage to throw.

It's just my opinion. I'm just more concerned about a decaying rubber body than a broken plastic body.

If someone know what plastic body I can use to go with this Ourworld Jill, I'm interested. The problem is to find the good color skin. I don't know yet if I'm gonna buy it or wait for the Hot Heart. But in each case, I need to find a body...

But I have to say I'm happy that this new RE3 Jill doesn't have seamless joints in the shoulders. It'll be possible to leave her in a stance aiming at something with her gun.

All my Jill customs have either the Hot Toys BSAA/BS body or the Hot Toys City Hunter Saeko body. The sculpted headsculpt is from the Viking set.
