It's insane that we're living in a timeline where Ashley figures are selling at all. OG Ashley was probably the most hated RE character before the remake.

While I never hated OG Ashley, I never cared about her either. Remake gave her a very likeable feminine strong personality, also her new appearance helps lot,I think her face is super cute. Everyone is so damn pretty in the remake.

The remake improved her character a lot, yeah. Still not interested in a figure of her, but if we get a good Luis, I'd get a full set of Leon, Ada, Luis + Ashley. If not, then just Leon + Ada.

In the original Ashley was a game mechanic/ plot device. In the remake she’s more of a character first, mechanic second.

I do love OG Ashley. Annoyingness and all. Backtracking through the locations escorting her is such a fun concept. An extra difficulty/challenge added. I found it more annoying how many times she’s captured and has to be saved over and over and Leon is alone again. Like they did it a few times too many.

Won’t use it to make a Jill. But was thinking about using it to make a realistic reimagining of classic Lara Croft. Just thought the face fits the character. Or I might go for an Angeline Jolie sculpt but there don’t seem to be any good ones..

Here's my old Jill custom using that head, albeit with a haircut. Pretty close to the prototype images, though it's worth noting the skin tone on the head matches the Damtoys Claire body more than any TBLeague body.

Last night someone listed a BNIB Leon and Lightning Hawk set for $350 plus ship. After tax and everything was about $390. Cheapest listing ive seen pop up in months AND came with the deagles, I think I did pretty good. First RE figure, down the rabbit hole I go

right!? Came double boxed AND with cushioning in the box, couldn't be any better. Glad to see it was actually sealed too, wasn't sure if id end up getting a MISB figure or not but for the price I wouldn't have minded.
