I’m finally playing the Seperate Ways DLC. I’ve had it downloaded since the day it released but never found the time.

I forgot how hot Luis was. Now I want a Luis figure

Great DLC. I also wouldn't mind a Luis. A display with Leon and Ashley, and a display with Ada and Luis.

I like both. I’m still in the crowd that loves the original games and the respective character designs, but something about Ada’s designs always turn out good. And she’s dethroned Jill in the modern remakes, for me. Used to be a Jill fanatic, but that’s changed now.

Jill is badass in REmake 1, RE3 and RE5. I’m not keen on Revelations 1, because I think it was a meh port, but she’s alright in that, from what I can remember. Always preferred her over Ada, until the modern remakes.

Jill the master of unlocking is definitely a badass in REmake 1, a bit clueless in the original still likeable tho. 3 vs the nemesis was peak Jill. I used to prefer Jill over Ada until RE5/6. I did not like what they did to Jill ( didn’t play the dlc at the time) and despite the flaws of 6 I thought Ada was a Standout.

Did not like 3 Remake but I get why she was so Jaded and standoffish since most of her interactions are with umbrella members.

Off topic have a soft spot for Helena and hoping she makes a return

To be honest, if RE6 ever does see the light of day again in the form of a remake, it will be redone from the ground up, story and all. I doubt Helena will even be in the game. If she is, she will be vastly different. Same with Piers.

That game just kinda tried to do way too much. Code Veronica needs some pacing fixes, but RE6 needs an actual reimagining. Something tells me that they will keep the Sherry and Jake aspect in tact, mostly. Leon, Ada and Chris will be incorporated a bit differently. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jill and Claire somehow end up being involved.

Oh yeh RE6 has some pretty fundamental issues, they shouldn’t even try remaking that game. I still had a good time with it tho. Especially the mercs mode coop.

Prefer to see Helena return in a sequel or something along side Leon again idk.

Jake was the worst part imo and should be removed entirely.

Capcom seem to be going all in on the remakes so I’m sure they will get around to it eventually. Not sold on the rumours but if a RE1 re-remake actually happens that would increase the chances of CV since they will have all the new character models in engine

As much as I want a remake of 1 i rather have CV first. Then re1>5>6. 6 needs a whole new makeover, lol. From the main titles I never finished 6 and never played 7. Village was alright but couldn’t do a second walkthrough especially after the castle I found the game quite boring. Re4r I didn’t a second play through but just like the original I couldn’t do the whole escorting Ashley every single time I played it. I enjoyed the OG re4 mercs more than the actual game. 5 on the other hand I enjoyed more especially co-op the way the game was meant to play. RE5 extra content was the best imo, from the dlc to mercs/versus/extra characters was just perfection. If that game ever gets a remake I doubt they’ll include all that extra content. Look at 2, 3 and 4.

I highly recommend RE7. To me, it felt like it brought back a lot of things that was missing from RE4, 5 and 6. The puzzle solving, atmosphere, boss fights, story, all felt like the classic RE games again. It felt like 4, 5 & 6 were trying too hard to be something other than an RE game. Or maybe it was just me, I dunno.
I currently started playing RE4R again. I really want to like the game, but it's just so darn clumsy. For someone who's had military training, Leon's having a real tough time holding his guns steady. I think the controls/combat might even be worse than the originals.
On the plus side, Ashley hasn't been as annoying yet as she was in the original. lol

Got a waitlist conversion for both classic Claire and Leon. Really tempted to get Leon at least, but will probably pass.

I want a CV remake sooooo bad. This is great news.

I can see a 1 remake being the final remake in their list, to go out with a bang. But I personally feel the only way they can do a game like that justice, is to offer third person, first person, AND fixed camera angles. Imagine the replayability of something like that. That way it would also satisfy fans of every era.

The long awaited "boom stick" shells arrived. Purchased through eBay. $50aud! Costs more than real ones.
I also had some smaller bases printed to position them side by side better.

I did purchase some from Aliexpress. Long story short, the seller sent the wrong ammo.
