Guys, who ordered the RE1 Jill from Rotator Toys?
I think she's good, and the price is correct but I'm afraid MTTOYS will release theirs (I'm never disappointed by them)

The Rotator pre-order has been available for several weeks now, and MTTOYS doesn't seem to have decided to release its version, which is why I'm thinking of pre-ordering the Rotator Toys while it's available.
I just hope I'm not making a mistake, because often when a brand releases a character, other brands release their versions pretty quickly afterwards, but there's still nothing for the Jill apart from the SWtoys, which isn't necessarily any better and is far too expensive!

So far MTTOYS has stuck to the remakes with the exception of Village Chris which is on the same updated RE engine.

I don’t know what MTToys plans are and with the delay for RE9 they may well revisit the older games.

Multiple third party brands announcing their version of a figure in quick succession is something you only really see with the hype of a new entry. A flood of Jill’s for RE3R and tons of Ada and Ashley’s (poor Leon) for RE4R.

Basically it's just the ZC Toys with minor modification or adjustment (new holster, might have given a new belt, etc.). I will probably need to replace his STARS decal soon (no big deal as I have my own more patch-like replacements like I added to Rebecca's shoulder), but overall it's quality outfit. The famous STRARS vest

I bet the more established third parties are probably waiting to see if an RE1 Re-remake manifests before going through the effort of making RE1 figures. The Rotator one feels pretty amateur, I suspect it may even just be one guy. It's the company's very first figure and the promo photos are so bad lol. I put down a deposit anyway, but I think it's 50/50 the figure even comes out. But lately I've been pleasantly surprised by how much better the final figures have been from smaller companies that have more to prove, so that's why I've given them a shot.

Was thinking of picking up some extra stockings for my re4 remake ada since I messed up the stockings from the super duck set. Anyone have any links to get some good ones that hopefully doesn't stain?

Just got it as well. Winter figure releases sucks big time for me. I'm excited and sad at the same time whenever I get an invoice.
Plus Lim's Drake releasing soon too (among others). I feel like my bank account is going to hate the next couple months.

I got these for mine. I just EZ wrap or something similar on the the bottom half first. No stains. And makes them easier to deal with.

Also, I never thought I'd be discussing 1/6 stockings on a forum. WTF am I doing with my life?!

Anyone got any idea what body I ought to buy in order to accommodate Ada's alternate outfit & sculpt? I kind of have to default to the sweater dress, but it would be a crime to leave the Cheongsam dress in a box for long.

It says that it comes with one seamless body, guessing Jiaou Doll by the looks of it. The dress is probably going to be on that body from the box.
As for the red sweater, I wouldn't mind trying a Hot Toys body this time around, if I can find one for a decent price. They just seem to have the best proportions.
I also have a TBL body that came from the Goddess Metis figure, I think it's an S47? So I might give that a try with the dress if the JD body ends up being too cheap looking. I think the S47 will be too tall though. We'll see, going to have to do some experimenting.

And I also have the Super Duck Ada on it's way too. Going to have a pile of Ada's to customize soon.

I look forward to your findings & conclusions. After buying two bodies for a Fallout Vault Girl kit last year & absolutely failing to find something that fit at all, I have determined that I suck at picking bodies on my own. LOL I will definitely be relying on the efforts of more seasoned body swappers for Ada.

Definitely interested hearing in which you think which works best once you've had a chance to experiment. As I just told someone else, my limited experience with body shopping blew up directly in my face.
