For anyone considering the Super Duck set, might just wanna keep mind the only thing of quality in this set is basically just the head sculpt, and maybe the sweater.
The zippers on both boots failed right out of the box. The belt material is also super thin and just plain cheap, the shoulder harness is ok. Guns have no paint detail whatsoever, just moulded black plastic.
But the boots, holy crap the boots! I spent around 2 hours trying to get the freaking zippers to work. :banghead
Anyhow, this set went right back into it's box.
Also, why the freaking frakkin **** is the head adapter super glued in!?!? Who thought this was a good idea!? :angryfist:

MTToys just works for me. It blows the others out of the water. Likeness could probably be improved a bit with more make up and contouring.

The only offering that has come close is the SWtoys 3.0 version, but I have zero faith in that company anymore. SuperDuck, by-Art. They all look off. What bothers me with SD’s is how over exaggerated the make up is.

That’s why I cancelled my SD set, sculpts can be hit or miss but the rest of the kit can be crap especially the accessories. Btw, she’s super tall next to Claire. 😅

Looks like I'm going to have a bunch of extra Hot Toys STARS and BSAA Chris Redfield parts pretty soon. Once I'm done completing my Chris the other stuff will be up for grabs to anyone that needs pieces. Just a heads up

So you’re the one that won the auction. 👀

It depends if you’re looking to buy a separate body, if you want more accessories or preference on the sculpt.

You can always mix and match depending if you’re looking to put together your ultimate ada custom. Also, no clue on the DAM RE license. Just rumors floating around that they still have the license or not. I would definitely avoid Swtoys tho good promo pics but the final product especially when it comes to RE figures are bad. SuperDuck comes with not body or extra weapons but they’re sculpts tend to more “realistic” feels more like a cosplayer imo. Also, their accessories/gear looks cheap and sometimes inaccurate. The best choice at least for me is going with MTtoys especially that we got a 2.0 you can easily pickup the swtoys accessories if you wish to give Ada more weapons or items.
Thanks for the great, in-depth rundown. Bonus points for adding pictures. I think I'll try to track down an MT Toys 2.0 then.

I had to cancel my MT Ada 2.0 with Kit, so there should definitely be at least one extra available soon after he sends out invoices. I'd definitely keep an eye out for that on OSK's Facebook.

Super Duck makes good head sculpts and decent clothing, but anything with pleather or zippers from them is absolute garbage. Had a Cammy set from them that practically disintegrated and the track suit busted in the back. Even the rubberbands holding her braids fell apart lmao

This upcoming MT Ada is probably the one I'll stick with until something better comes along. I'm done trying out those other kits.

The odd thing is, that body without the boots was the same height as Claire. 😆 But yeah, way too dang tall and chunky for Ada. This whole set just looks off. I'll try it on one of those cheaper poptoys style body yet to see if I can salvage anything. The sweater is also too short (once again) with the sleeves being too long. Not sure what's going on there. I really hope that new MT set uses better zippers...

Thats what frustrated me so much. Just trying to zip up the boots without them even being on the body, the zipper would keep splitting open. I tried bending the zipper slider? (no idea what they're called) with pliers, and it would work once, and then the next time would just be even worse.
If I ever get another Super Duck set, I'm going to make sure it doesn't have any zippers. 😅

Damn. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Kinda glad I impulsively cancelled this & went with the MTT 2.0, but I was pulling for this to be a winner. The sculpt was easily the best out of the first couple of waves of Adas.
