There's an herb glitch in that? I haven't played CVX in many years now.

I think CV's story is fine, I just think the game world is too ******* big for a classic RE play style. I think Dino Crisis was a dry run for CV's gameworld.

Yes, the infinite herb glitch. I got tired of struggling so I use every time I want to do a story run.

I think it's just a very weird game, unique in a way. It's one of the few games I remember playing back in 2001. Wesker coming back was the highlight of the game for me, I barely care about everything else in it.

I liked the backstory into Umbrella in it with the Ashfords and all. It doesn't really have an identity of it's own. It goes from Return of the Living Dead with Zombies coming out of the ground, to Psycho with Alfred... to The Thing in Antarctica. It's too all over the place in locales with no real central theme. The final boss doesn't even have more than a couple sentences of dialogue at most.

Wesker's comeback is definitely the highlight, and I'm glad they changed his scene with Alexia to be different to create the coolest scene in the series. I still remember being blown away as a teen that he was alive after all.

I really, really miss Richard Waugh's Wesker.

I agree with all that, this is when Wesker stopped being just another bad guy. You knew he'd keep coming back on a regular basis.

I remember thinking Jill's scenario was canon because it made more sense, how did he survive gigantic claws going through his stomach? I realized much later that there is no canon ending in RE1/REmake

And that cutscene is my favorite of the game, Wesker proved that wherever he did was better than sleeping in a tube for 15 years and come back as a half-plant, half-insect creature who can't even speak.

Nemesis and Mr. X are the Reverse Cowgirl of Tyrants. Birkin G3 is Doggy.

So which is the Alabama Hot Pocket?

:lol I agree, now to be fair it's way better than the CVX Tyrant. You know that one Tyrant that most people forget it even exists.

I was just thinking about that. Plain design but like Snake said, he was tough on the plane. I had to use my Gameshark the first time around because I'd wasted the B.O.W. rounds on something else beforehand -- probably a Bandersnatch. :lol

"Just another bad guy" aptly put. He's the first villain I wanted to succeed and kill the heroes since he was for more interesting and cooler than the heroes by a huge margin. As for his "death", the Mansion plot is FUBAR. We're not privy to what actually went down.

I think he's coming back. The seeds have already been planted for it to happen. RE6 had clones and RER2 gave us immortality. I tend to think RE5 was a decoy. And as ridiculous as the series has become, it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Killing him, killed the series.

Who did we get after? Col. Sanders Simmons and stupid Ring girl Eveline. Alex Wesker was completely ****ing ruined.

If he does come back I want him to do it Liquid style, because as much as I'd like him to come back and as ****** as RE5 is, it still felt appropriate for Chris to kill him because they had this personal thing since CVX (Wesker could have killed Chris and I'd be more than fine with that but Capcom would never dare to do that)

Though I wouldn't really mind if they change that part of the series, I don't care much for what happens after 3

So my guess is, he either has a big fan pretending to be him or it's actually him.

I do think it's a certainty he's coming back, it's just question of how. I never bought the two RPGs killing him, especially since it looks like his head moved out of the way.

And BTW, even my wife noticed this when she watched me play it... what ****ing business did Sheva have in dealing the final blow on him? Who the **** are you when you just got here like five minutes ago?

I think they went overboard with how they handled him in RE5, but I actually kinda like that. He's supposed to be larger than life, and they took it a step forward. I could almost see him being worshiped as a "God" by a new set of flunkies.

It always bothered me that it circulated the fan community that "OH NOEZ HE CAN'T SEE IN THE DARKZ" referring to that second boss fight with him. Like c'mon now, his ****ing eyes glow! It's a ******** mechanic just so you can beat him since they overpowered him so much that there's no possibly way to defeat him without some ex machina ****.

It always seemed weird to me that he didn't have a proper cult of followers worshipping him like a god, maybe now that he's "dead" the fanboys will show up.

He can come back:
Birkin - If only a tissue fragment remains, the virus will resuscitate by rebuilding body tissues even if death results.

I don't remember where that's from but it's true, he can come back

****ing Sheva should have died, she was an NPC in the original script I think, that explains why she's so bland and uninteresting.

There's always ******* saying "But she's the main female though"

The second boss fight is nonsense, he's able to lift a tomahwak missile with his hands and throw it at you, how can Sheva and Chris even hope do defeat him? and the darkness stuff is the most annoying, vertical pupils evolved to see better in the dark :lol it makes no sense

Considering his hatred for Chris, more than likely Chris's ended happened, especially since he did get stabbed by the Tyant in canon and survived because of the virus Birkin gave him.

''Shortly before he was confronted by Chris and Jill, Wesker injected himself with a Prototype virus given to him by his partner, William Birkin.[23] Allowing the Tyrant to "kill" him, the virus resuscitated[notes 9] his body after the room was empty, while also endowing him with superhuman strength, agility, and regeneration, but at the severe cost of his humanity.''
