My copy of Mercenaries 3D shipped a week early too. It didn't arrive till a day after the street date, so don't count on it being early. It'd be cool for you all if it did though...even though I'd be extremely envious.

Oddly, there's already DLC content for the game in the xbox live marketplace...hmmm

I highly doubt that... But whatever... Lol I hope it's not true...

It doesn't bother me if they get it early. I like reading first impressions of fans to get a better understanding of what I'm getting into. I'm buying it regardless, but I still like to hear what people think of it.

:lecture I'd prefer to hear it from other gamers than read reviews from IGN and other sources. While they are a good place to gauge where the game is, most of the reviewers don't know their heads from their asses.

Same here. Fan's impressions are more important to me than reviews from top brand companies.

If by some chance it does arrive early than hopefully I can give a good impression of the game for those that are undecided. Hopefully the game is a fun experience.

How ironic. I didn't see you post since I was creating one of my own in response to Ben's and we posted just about the same thing ...

Per their Facebook page:

Good news for Operation Raccoon City players! A free Spec Ops DLC mission will be available to download for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE users on April 10th (US) and April 11th (Europe). The mission will revisit the moment Jill Valentine encounters the Nemesis, and face players against the U.S.S. and multiple B.O.W.'s.

I love me some free stuff. I cannot wait until this game comes out.

Here's a preview, btw:

Damn, i want to run and hide back in the RPD station again.

The RPD station NEEDS to be in the game. I dont have any high hopes for the game story or play wise because its meant to be back in time fan service.

To me the places are just as important as the characters and monsters.

So if we go all game and dont get to re visit any places from the original games i wont be pleased

I hope ORC does have a great ost. Its something RE games are known for. Though with it being a "spin-off" i dont mind too much as it doesnt really need to set atmosphere if you are just shooting ____ up. Im starting to get the pre release excitement now though
