Resident Evil Remake Remastered

Thanks. So, basically prettier looking and that was it? (Not that there's anything wrong with that)

Twin snakes had some enhancements on the gameplay department as well, but made it a tad easier IMO.

There are certain added features like limited disposable bombs and knives that can get you out of being attacked by breaking an enemy's hold. I hope I'm not spoiling it for you, but there are new super zombies called Crimson Heads that force you be more strategic with your bullets as well as when and where you kill regular zombies because they'll come back as super strong and super fast Crimson Heads unless you burn the bodies with gasoline within a certain amount of time, but you've also got to keep in mind that there's not enough gasoline to burn them all either. There's also another big boss monster as well as an added storyline surrounding it.

REmake is in a entire different dimension above ****** Twin Snakes.

Crimson Heads is probably the best enemy added to the series since the basic zombie.

Re: Resident Evil Remake Remastered

I've never been a fan of crimson heads. I know some are, but to me its just an annoyance and it feels like padding. The game already relies on excessive back tracking on items alone and then they add in the need to burn bodies, and in some kind of i assume joke on the player they make the gasoline holder only be able to carry 2 at a time. If they wanted to add something new id like a new form of Zombie, a jumper or something. Theres no crawling Zombies in remake so add them. All it feels like to me is an excuse to add an extra reason to back track. They go down off 2 shotgun shells, so it isnt even worth it in the first place unless you suck at conserving ammo

Thanks. Does sound great as I've never played the REmake. But I loved the original.

Re: Resident Evil Remake Remastered

Don't forget, some zombies will follow you into other rooms by banging through doors.

Re: Resident Evil Remake Remastered

About time, don't know how I missed this thread. I've been looking to get back into RE for the longest while.

Resident Evil Remake Remastered

Remake was a great remake of the original, the same cannot be said about twin snakes

the best thing that came out of that were updated character models

If somebody made me choose between RE1 and the remake to only be able to play that ever again, id probably choose remake

Re: Resident Evil Remake Remastered

Yea Twin Snakes compared to the original Mgs isn't as good .

Re: Resident Evil Remake Remastered

I don't know why everyone says Remake is amazing but zero was severely lacking. Both were incredible

Re: Resident Evil Remake Remastered

I enjoyed them both. I prefer the item box system in REmake and wanted to play as Rebecca in a solo adventure, though.

Something about the fuzzyier shots has a better atmosphere to me for some reason.

Re: Resident Evil Remake Remastered

From first glance the HD remaster looks better but the original had a more consistent look for the backgrounds and characters. The removed blurry effect makes the characters stand out more

REmake is in a entire different dimension above ****** Twin Snakes.

From what I can tell REmake is the exact same game but with a couple small added features and refinements. But TwinSnakes added a couple game breaking features: First person view and tranquilliser darts.
