Evolving the episodic chapter set-up of the original Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil Revelations 2 will initially release as a weekly series of episodic downloads. Each of the four episodes features hours of terrifying gameplay ending with dramatic cliff-hangers that leave players fully engrossed and anticipating the next twist in the gripping horror story. A digital download option of the Complete Season will also be available to ensure fans can get each episode as it rolls out, and a retail disc version will arrive following the final episode. Both the disc version and Complete Season will include additional game content, which will be detailed in the coming weeks and months. With the variety of options available, Resident Evil fans will have more choices available to them than ever before.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be available in 4 downloadable episodes priced at €5.99/$5.99 per episode. A digital download of the Complete Season will be made available for €24.99/$24.99 and a retail boxed version will follow (pricing dependent to the specific retailer).

episodic is cool and all, but it breaks the immersion…. oh well. I think I'll just wait for the retail copy to come out.

I'm being pessimistic currently, maybe that will change at some point... but from what I've read and seen, I'm grossly unimpressed... again. We finally get Claire back, but no Alyson Court... go **** yourself Crapcom.

I'm being optimistic as always honestly, the only thing that would really hurt me is to see HT ignore this...

But thats another topic. Its better to be a bit pessimistic though you can save yourself from a big disappointment... unless the game is as good as I think it will be

Hot Toys doesn't care about the VGM line, and they definitely don't care enough to do figures for a non-main series game. I'd be more optimistic if this wasn't built by episodes and it was one solid game.

I hope that means a bunch of extra modes, Resident Evil needs a survival mode like L4D2

Welp, all things considered, I'm glad Claire has another outfit with her signature red. Leon's images pre-RE6 worried me he wouldn't be back in blue until of course his China outfit debuted.

I have my doubts about this release, but I'm going in with low expectations.

Right now I think that is a must for pretty much any game with with Zombies
